boy i sure had a TON of FPS troubles walking around the VANILLA cliffs edge during the quest with pearl exterior this is PRIOR to your mod...
but i also have a big build going at the N.P. Visitor's center which is almost too close for comfort, in fact one of my settlers FROM the N.P. Visitor's Center was actually sandboxing at the Cliffedge hotel
SO i am nervous about damaging my N.P. Visitor's build... BUT i will TEST this carefully with controlled save files and report back :)
Are you going to be turning this into a settlement in the near future by any chance? I did this same thing months ago but I'm such an amateur in the Creation Kit that I had no idea how to turn it into one Either way, you did a great job! Thanks
I initially planned to completely renovate it. Giving it that Lucky 38 feel! Lost much motivation when I couldn't replace certain portions of the building. I have no modeling experience and couldn't possibly be bothered to learn solely to recreate two items to repair windows. This certainly does the vast majority of any exterior work, and some minor interior refinishing.
No idea if any of you are still active or not, but I can make the fixed pieces available for you if you want. Have most of them done already but haven't used for anything yet.
I actually made a request on the forums not to long ago for something like this. It not being a settlement isn't an issue thanks to conquest or matching build parts for that matter.
Some things can be substituted with snappyhousekit parts but I'm not all that worried since it's been through a nuclear fallout after all and isn't exactly going to be restored 100% accurate by settlers.
