What do I remove via xedit to get rid of the double trees? I want to keep all other things intact and remove the duplicate trees, just the trees. Like the trees with leaves. Trees.
Hi there, guys! If you don't like weather, new color grading, lens, new God rays, etc. and double trees all around the Commonwealth you can easily get rid of it using the Fo4Edit. You need to start the program, choose the file "Autumn Overhaul', and delete these sections under File Header: "God Rays", 'Image Space", "Weather', "Lens", 'Worldspace". The last is the culprit of the double spawn of the trees and it's drop fps really much.
In the end, you will get only new LOD's, meshes and textures for the environment. I have a mid-end rig and PRC Enb, and it gives me around 40-50 fps. Nice enough for the flawless and beautiful game)
I was hoping this would give a boost to FPS, and it does, but it's because it removes the Autumn Overhaul trees entirely, leaving just vanilla trees but keeping this mod's tree LODs.

This is one of the best environment mods I've seen, I've been enjoying it until I got to the point where textures started flickering, probably precombines despite I have set bPreCulledObjectsEnabled to 0. After checking some comments, it seems it has it has its own weather and lighting. I was hoping to use it with NAC X and Truestorms. Would be nice to have compatibility patch or another version. But very good mod overall.
You can remove the aspects of the mod like weather edits in FO4Edit in under a minute... I removed all of the texture edits and weather stuff from this mod.
I have noticed some others commenting on an issue with tree LODs. I noticed it first around Concord, the 2D cardboard textures overlapped with the autumn trees. Loading back to the main menu and loading back in temporarily fixes the issue. Going into buildings and leaving does not. Does anyone know a good fix for this? I went into Fo4Edit and deleted these sections under File Header: "God Rays", 'Image Space", "Weather', "Lens", and 'Worldspace". I dont think I can use Optimized Vanilla Tree LODs https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/63198?tab=description though can I? Thanks for any advice or help, its very annoying to have to exit and reload every time I run into the ugly textures.
This mod has its own weather/lighting. So no. You'd need to patch them as they will conflict, or you could choose one, or delete the weather section from this mod in xedit
Could maybe try loading Vivid after this. I did play with them 2 years ago without significant issues as long as Vivid came after, but it still had the standard bugs

So I'll try the edits and see how this works out.
