I figured it out, for me it was a conflict with the achievement mods.
1. Uninstall any achievement enabler mods you have 2. Install Buffout 4 3. Go to Unlimited Survival Mode folder and edit the inis in MCM as you want and make sure the last option (iEnableAchievement) is set to 0
Everything should work now. Buffout 4 takes care of achievements on moded saved games already
if your using StoryWealth collection just disable Achievements v1.0.5 (leave buffout 4 alone) and use this mod instead. Doing so is what fixed my ammo/stim weight issue for survival mode.
I'm currently playing with the StoryWealth Collection and added this mod to it and the ammo and stim still have weight in Survival Mode. Collection contains both mods Buffout 4 and Achievements v1.0.5, I disabled Achievements v1.0.5 and the ammo/stim weight was correctly removed.
Side note; have not yet progress far enough to prove achievements still work with mods, but they probably do as i do have it activated through this mod.
It's not just you, but you guys aren't installing it properly if you are getting this error. I am running this mod fine on 1.10.984 and I am not experiencing any of the weirdness like options not working etc. that people are discussing here. All I did was manually install the latest F4SE and any mod that uses F4SE into the Fallout4 install directory and it works. For some reason the mod managers managing the latest fallout 4 update screw up the latest F4SE and the mods that use it.
No it's not. It works just fine for me on latest 1.10.984 Manually install the latest F4SE and this mod and it will work. You can have MCM installed via a mod manager.
Perfect. This is confirmed working on the latest NG update 1.10.984. Anyone who can't get it to run isn't installing it properly or has incompatible versions of F4SE installed. The way I got it to work with the NG update was to manually install F4SE and any F4SE mod I use without a mod manager. I'm back to zipping around the commonwealth again :)
Also, no weight for stimpacks and ammo are confirmed working for me on the latest update. Again, properly install the mod and it works. It's not the devs fault here that you all can't get it right.
Hi, dunno if this is an appropriate place to ask, but I'll ask anyway. Where do offsets and values come from? For example, in your github repo to disable ammo and stimpak weight you write to two addresses values 0x9090 and 0xEB. The offsets are 138 apart so it must be some kind of struct, but how does one find these offsets and especially which values to write there? I want to enable ammo and stimpak weight for non-survival difficulties.
This mod allows me exactly what I wanted: hardcore mode in Fallout 4. I used to have the time and patience for the horrendous restrictions of vanilla survival, but I have gladly moved beyond that and being able to use the console and save at my leisure, but still getting the hardcore mode aspects, is all I ever really wanted. THANK YOU! Worked perfect for me as of date of this writing on current F4SE.
You sound like your pfp lol. I totally agree though, I had zero patience for some of the restrictions put on survival mode made solely to make it more frustrating to play.
