I just found this mod and I love it.
The only problem I am seeing is that one of the Minute Men radiants is sending me there to clear the area after I have already claimed it.
So now I have a quest I can’t complete taking up a quest slot.

If you plant crops and build beds in the area near the workshop, the settlers will use them. I think something is wrong with the cell closer to the road.

in reply to drhamm, and more...firstly, thank you for this!

this is a perfect settlement location! thanks for creating this! :-D
i do however have one supermutant who just keeps coming back, near where the workshop is located.
my settlers (7 total) are usually just standing around that area, so they tend to get him wounded before i even show up, which is funny to see because it's usually the case that i hear tons of gun fire, run over and see all of my settlers standing motionless around a supermutant heaving on the ground, clutching on to his wounds. they all attack him when i attack him.

weird. also, not sure if the settler inactivity is from this mod or maybe from something else i have? even though they are all assigned to stations/jobs throughout the settlement, they just stand near the workshop, where i had placed (and have since scrapped) the settler beacon. i haven't noticed this behavior at any other settlement, which is why i comment. but i'm about to go in and confirm...update to come!

ooh ooh, also, it would be nice if the supermutant decor and their turret were scrappable. i can't disable them in console :-\
not sure if that's something you could add to an update? or not--i'm definitely happy with the settlement if that's not in the cards :-p
on a related note, there's a few melons growing on the land that similarly stick around, but only in name when you go near them, as if they're invisible. i tried repeatedly scrapping one and my game crashed. i just leave 'em be now, not a big deal.

Same issue - settlers just stand around the workshop (except one guard post near the workshop that one is 'on duty' guarding as it should). This settlement maker has the the 'cleanest' settlements I have experienced thus far (those buttons are nice!), so this 'glitch' is a bit surprising. The other two settlements created by this modder work flawlessly. Hopefully we can get a comment regarding the issue and maybe a fix. Fingers crossed.

Seeing the same things. Idle at the workshop, same 1 mutant spawning near workshop, and invisible melon vines (I think there were 3 of them). I stored them in my workshop then replanted them elsewhere, that seemed to have resolved that issue. With regard to the debris and turret - the buttons on the workshop will take care of them. Unlike the Waterfront settlement by this modder, the mutant decor is not included in the cleanup. I suspect this might have been an earlier project and simply hasn't been touched since applying new techniques...

Update: Works fine if you build in front of the workshop. See details in bug reports. Think of it as another Hangman's Alley for lore sake. :)

      Same problems...settlers don't move...Ghost Town.
Great location, so i'll try the other mod, although i'll miss the cave.

This is a great mod, moved over to this from the season pass edition breakheart banks mod. Both are great but I wanted a bit of a change. Hope some city plans come up soon. Any way this could be made into an ESL? (fingers crossed)

always wondered why Bethesda didn't make it a settlement. clear it for quest and boom there ya go. thanks for this and in reply to others down the list with settlers standing around. i have that issue in several settlements. they are assigned but don't actually work at the stations... will investigate....someday.

Loved the settlement, but wanted that stretch of road to be a bit more 'exciting' again, so I uninstalled. I noted that the a few items do NOT return to the game world after uninstalling. For example, only the super mutants near the bank respawn (the ones closest to the road do not respawn), all crops remain removed (corn and watermelons), and the broken turret does not reappear. Not a biggie, but just thought I would mention it. Uninstalling did not seem to otherwise affect the saved games I have.

Update: After some experimentation, I realized that I had disabled some of the items in the settlement using the buttons (clear rocks, corpses, etc.) After carefully ensuring that all buttons were in the enabled setting and then saving, then exiting the game, removing the mod, restarting the game using that save, all items returned to the game as before the initial mod install EXCEPT the crops (corn stalks and watermelon vines). The crops remained permanently removed from the game world. Not necessarily a show stopper in my opinion. Will definitely use the mod again in a new play through. Thanks to the creator for a great location!

Thanks! It it safe to assume that there are no enemy spawn points within the settlement boundaries?

Other than the standard random settlement attack markers, which are slightly outside the boundaries of the settlement, there are no enemy spawn points.

It's at Breakheart Banks, where the normal location is near The Slog.

Does it have a proper boundary line in workshop mode? If not could you maybe post an overhead shot with the line edited in to show the boundary?

EDIT: Also is it compatible with scrap everything? And do you need all DLC?

There's no boundary, but I placed some oil lamps around the edge to denote it. I can try to make an overhead shot, but the area is very large so I'm not sure there's be enough detail to be helpful. I'm not sure if it's compatible with scrap everything, but I made sure that the toggle buttons get rid of pretty much anything that isn't base-game scrappable. All the debris is base-game, though, so i don't see why Scrap Everything wouldn't work. if you test it, let me know! And no DLC is required.
