Update 4 Patches to Horizon v1.7.6 : PATCH 1, 2, 5 and 6. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
that patch is not updated for current horizon, I dont think I will ever update that patch but check it out in fo4edit maybe there are not many thing to update.
Hi I was just wanting to check if any of these have been updated to work with 1.5 yet. I love the Ephla's hats and was just wanting to check the status of the update
Hi Archer, not sure of mod etiquette so sorry if I shouldn't be posting this...but I use almost all your patches so I figured i'd post it here.
...but I changed the MRE patch to better match desolation mode in Horizon. Prewar food in Desolation mode is harsh and gives you a high chance of disease. So, I lowered the cost of the MRE's since they now give rads, but the benefit to them now over prewar food now is that they don't give you diseases. I also lowered what the containers give you, removing one purified water from the large container and removing the purified water from the small one and lowered the amount of MRE's you get by a bit.
I haven't play desolation, I haven't even play the 1.3.1 update so I cant make a patch fo that, I think lowering the cost will lower how much hunger you satiate. I see you gave them much more rads.
Ya...I'm sure they aren't much better than horizons prewar food. Zawinul lowered the caps for all the prewar food to less than 10 in desolation, so I figured x3 seems about right...I had to up the rads since that is really the theme of desolation. Z wanted prewar food to be pretty fairly unedible, it has a high very chance of disease, something horizon didn't have before. I really didn't want the MRE's to have a huge impact on my game...but I still wanted to add the mod since fading signals mods are superb, so even if I don't ever really need/get a chance to eat the MRE's, I don't mind stumbling upon them if only for the immersion factor.
...But that said, if theres a choice between eating mre's or prewar food, there is no reason not to eat the mre's that ive patched, so there is still a point to having them for actual gameplay and not just for immersion. But its keeps horizons desolation theme pretty much where it's at since the mre's are fairly rare.
