This is a dead update. Check https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/42029 for the recently update Horizon 1.8 and South of the Sea compatibility mod.

Edit: Went through FO4Edit and removed all the references to AE and cleaned the masters. Haven't tested it yet, but we'll see what happens...

Seconding a request for a non-AE version of the NAC compatibility patch? NAC is amazing, but requiring AE now obviously isn't :(.

Thanks a ton for all your work on these compatibility patches! Much appreciated :).

Update: Everything seems to be working fine. Have only seen one CTD so far but I'm fairly certain it was related to other mods/scripts not behaving properly.

I haven't extensively tested it yet in this playthrough, but so far so good.

Since Horizon 1.7 is very near release I hope to see these patches updated when that finally comes out. I'd love to be able to use SOTS and NAC with horizon with the latest versions of each mod.

Not sure if this will get an update since OG seems busy but I'll post anyway.

There are some issues with beantown interiors in general, not sure if they can be patched for horizon....

The optimization patch for BI should be avoided since it messes with precombinds and was causing all sorts of lod flickering so I had to remove it. I removed other mods that can cause precombind issues but the optimization patch was the culprit....there are many others with this issue too.

I am still using base BI along with OG's patch which works fine from what I can tell, but to get the exterior cell interiors (where you enter a BI building that doesn't require a loading screen) BI needs to be loaded after horizon which isn't ideal. When BI is loaded first the exterior-interiors are still boarded up and you can't enter (at least the ones I found and tested).

As of now its either use BI out of order (which I'm sure will cause some issues) or only have access to a tiny portion of what BI adds.

My current load order looks like this:

    Mods
    Horizon
    Horizon patches
    BI
    Horizon-BI patch

    Edit:
Removed BI after getting more issues with lod flickering at the OTB near the robot races. Changing the load order didn't help, too bad, the mod added a lot of atmosphere....

I had this exact behavior and ended up placing it after Horizon like you.thanks for the summary. I guess I will remove also, shame.

Armorsmith Extended is no longer compatible with Horizon, so the NAC+Horizon patch really needs an update to remove it as a master.

The south of the sea patch would need to be expanded, there are things like enemies and radiation that need to be revised. Thanks for your work and time!

Noticed a lot of textures flickering with 1.5 using Beantown Interiors. It seems like it definitely needs to be updated.

The only thing that the patch does is add tags and whatnot to beantown. If you’ve got flickering textures it’s most probably due to having a line in your uni file that needs deleting, I had it a while back, go through the comments on the mod page and I’m sure you’ll find the file that needs removing.

As for updating I’ve lost interest in the game so I won’t be updating them for the foreseeable future.
