Anyone else have parts of this mod just... not work? I'm still getting the radiation damage shaders (i think that's what they are) when I get slapped by a feral. I'm trying to figure out if one of my other mods adds NEW effect shaders, or if it's something with this mod. (My giant load order makes me hesitant to report this as a bug, lol)
My mod simply deletes the references. It's possible that a different mod/update/patch has reinstalled the references to the mentioned shaders and sounds.
Hi there, I know it's been a while but how did you achieve this? I was wanting to remove the HUD highlighting of characters as a mod seems to have added it somewhere (presumably to a companion) and rather than going through trying to find out where I figure it's just easier to remove the shader itself. I went into the CK and removed the shader effect from the dropdown box on the detectlife spell, but nothing happened. I guess I did somethin wrong.
Thanks for this mod by the way, I can't stand ridiculous shaders and this dramatically improved my play through.
*Edit, looks like I was able to stop it applying with the targetingHUD but not get rid of the effect itself. Any ideas?
*Second edit, sorted it out. Unticking membrane shader seems to have done it. Hopefully doesn't mess anything up haha
Thanks for this! I'd also welcome a mod that gets rid of the low-res, pulsing glowiness of the radiation shader on the Shem Drowne sword and perhaps elsewhere. (Or add as an option to this mod.)
With this mod the Targeting Hud mod for Power Armor helmets and weapon with scopes should work fine on Legendary npcs when they evolve. An alternative version could be to remove the shader if the player wears the Targeting Hud only.
Targeting HUD should still work with this mod installed. You'd like me to make a mod which removes the effects from targeting HUDs? Should I replace it with something or remove it?
I'll try to be more clear, the bad thing of legendary shaders is that they override Targeting Hud in the vanilla game. If your mod could prevent legendary shaders when wearing Targeting Hud only or leave it alone when not wearing Targeting Hud it would be like the fix to vanilla game I'm looking for.
Indeed, and thanks to your mod my targeting hud works fine even when legendary evolve. I'll keep using it because it is better with it, however if having conditions to trigger only when wearing targeting hud I would install that version instead. I have endorsed this mod by the way.
Thanks, enjoy! It seems difficult to make legendary effects only trigger or not trigger while targeting HUD is or isn't active.. I'm not sure how to do that..
Howdy. Check out this mod: "Silent UI" by ModelsOfBoats Here's a link: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/112/? This mod has already done that, I use it myself.
All you really need to do is find the appropriate file you want to change and where it's located (you can easily do this with "Bethesda Archive Extractor" or "Full dialogues and voice files list" by zilav) and then put a blank or silent file in place of the sounds you want to modify.
The three legendary mutation sounds are named... UI_LegendaryCreature_01.xwm UI_LegendaryCreature_02.xwm UI_LegendaryCreature_03.xwm ...and are located in Fallout 4/Data/Sound/FX/UI

update: i found a mod which does the same thing, but seems to work on my end: LessObnoxiousMutations

Do you think you would be able to remove also the sound fx that comes with the legendary transformation?

I'm hoping you haven't ruined that for me lol.
No worry if you have - I hear there's a mod for that.
