Классно то что я искал и давно почему разработчики это не сделали непонятно. It's cool what I was looking for and for a long time why the developers did not do it incomprehensibly.
Hey. I found an issue. This mod seems to not be compatible with mods that retexture concrete walls. all walls you can snap conduit to do not change textures. Do you have a solution to that?
Yes, I know. That is why that is stated on the page under compatibility.
Compatibility / Non Compatibility Replaces meshes for the Concrete Wall, Half Wall, Angled Wall, and the Curved wall. It also adds the WorkshopSnapTransmitsPower to the concrete objects. Not compatible with MOD's that change the same objects.
This doesn't seem to work. I've tried resnapping concrete walls and then connecting via a conduit but they still don't transmit power no matter what I do.
OK, I'm having problems with this mod. Would someone please ELI5 how to run power through my concrete walls?
Here's what I've done. I built my concrete tower and plopped an elevator down. I ran power to the wall behind the elevator using one of the node things and now I can't get power to the elevator. What am I doing wrong?
I mostly want this mod so I can run power through walls as I can't get conduits to work to save my toon's life!
Sorry it has been a long time since I have been on here. Without seeing a picture I Can't tell you exactly what is wrong. I assume that the concrete pieces are not snapped together. For example if you place for concrete walls around a wood floor Power would not be transmitted through all the walls. You would need the small corner piece to connect two walls together.
Or you have a mod that makes other changes to the concrete pieces. My MOD replaces the 3D model and the object in the ESM file. The model is what adds the snap points. The object is what adds power transmission. So if you have a MOD that make any change to the concrete pieces and is loaded after my MOD then power will not transmit.
I believe that textures can be replaced with out modifying an object. If the object was not modified to point to a different texture file, then the two MODs will work together. If not then someone would have to make a compatibility patch between the two MODs.
Is the Power stuff in the ESP or in the actual meshes? Opening both files in NifSkope i barely see any real differences except the texture O.o
If it helps, here are the 2 im tryin to get to work with this. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/11943/? http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/12243/?
If we add WorkshopSnapTransmitsPower to the concrete pieces of the mods we are using now, will they start transmitting power to one another? I'm asking because I have a ton of concrete structures in my save and would like this option without having to rebuild them all.
WorkshopSnapTransmitsPower will allow power to transmit through concrete, but you still need a way to get power in to the concrete. That is where you need the snap points in the 3d Model. The snap points are on the 4 wall's, but power will transmit though the walls and windows, and concrete floor/ceiling.
I am thinking about adding a conduit snap point to the lower part of the concrete window.

Should be compatible with all other mods.

Thank you for any help you can give!
