I'd love an enemy exclusive version to this. Just for... smut.

I like the idea here, but what I don't like is the part where it destroys equipment. My suggestion, though it would be harder to do, is make it so the armor is unequipped, and can't be reequipped for a while. Realistically, until you repair the armor, but a long timer would work too. My concern is the player using armor with legendary effects, or otherwise unique equipment. If armor is destroyed, that would make players unwilling to use legendary or unique armors and instead use low quality armors. This is just my opinion. Again, I like the idea here, just not the destruction part.

I have thought about it. The idea is, armor DESTROY part only triggers during your 'death'. So in reality, you would have just reload the game thus saving all your armor.

As a penalty for the cheat, you lose your precious armor, setting you back. That's the main idea, your gear will get a huge setback as part of the balance for cheating death. If I could, I would make the trigger to prevent armor swap during the Invincible phase, but players can still exploit by swapping their good armor with bad armor... (I'll just let the player decide whether they wish to exploit or play in good faith by letting the mod destroy their good gear)

This mod is really meant to be played with Survival mode and its real purpose is to make the game harder by making you lose the best gear. I never like the idea where in RPGs, you get the best gear, and you keep it forever. I like the idea that you have that legendary gear, and you COULD lose it during your travels.

However, you did point out an interesting idea, repair destroyed gear. Dunno how to go about doing it.. I actually like the idea of very expensive repair on destroyed gear..

Dynamic deterioration is entirely missing in FO4 to the detriment of the game.
Adding repair would make this one of the best realism mods ever.
I hope you give it a go!

Hello, you could put the commands of the console so that the armors were destroyed more frequently
    Thanks, good work

Great mod, Orangy! I use this and haven't found any bugs. This makes FO4 much more exciting.

If I don't have the full armor, do I get damaged?? Because I'm getting damaged w/out a left arm and leg Power Armor.

Also, some of my equips were unequipped and put down to the ground just after I exit my PA. I had bruised arms and legs. Cause could be that I'm not wearing any PA armor and said arm and leg (..no left PA leg and arm, so the one that shouldered the damage was my characters clothing(?)). I thought the PA's armor are the one that will wear off first when your using it?

Power armor doesn't matter. Just added 1.33 to prevent armor pieces getting dropped while in power armor, but pieces can still be destroyed (when you are in invulnerable mode) while in power armor.

Really cool concept. Is it possible to add a treshhold to allow powerful attacks (i.e. Deathclaw attacks, heavy weapons like the Fatman or rocket launcher) to still be instantly lethal, skipping the "combat strip" phase? How does your mod handle damage-over-time effects like burning?

Its possible to add a threshold damage, but it'll require lots coding to check for damage done. Papyrus doesn't have a script to return damage done.

I'm not sure what happens with dots, I think dots might actually bug out the mod. If dots kill you, you'll enter bleedout, but the script won't trigger. You'll probably come out of bleedout with full health and things just continue normally.

This would be kinda important to avoid nerfing high-damage, low dps attacks. If I read the description correctly, it would go like this: The first hit with a Fatman (usually instant death) would put you in combat-strip mode. The next five hits with the Fatman (!) would then take off one armor piece (assuming you have every body slot covered) at a time, with the sixth shot finally killing the player. In total, you would then have survived seven (!) hits from the most damaging weapon in the game, up from zero.

If checking for damage done is too complicated via script, maybe you could try checking for damage types and excluding those from triggering the script? This may help with the dots as well. (Please note that I have absolutely no idea about scripting - idea could be complete bullsh*t as far as I know.^^)

EDIT: The more I think about it, the more I like the idea behind your mod. Dying and reloading doesn't feel punishing enough. In fact, it more or less trivializes the combat since you will have "foresight" the next time you start the fight that killed you. I really hope you come through with this and get some well deserved attention!

It shouldn't matter how player is damaged. Instead of death, player gains roughly 30 secs of invincibility fully armored. At which point, player can either try to kill off all attackers, or run away.

Might add a damage threshold to make sure hard fights are not easy. The damage threshold will be used to destroy 2 or 3 pieces of armor at once.

1.1 is released, most bugs seemed fix. There's one error where it seems like multiple armor pieces got destroyed at once..couldn't tell. If its an error, its now an unofficial game mechanic!

This mod actually took forever to make... (1st time modding fallout4)
    1) Took a whole day to figure out how to check item slots. Nothing worked. Apparently, item slots do not start from index 30, Bethesda got me good by making it appears as they do..
    2) Originally, godmode was used for invulnerabilty, but its disabled in Survival mode. Nothing can enable it, got me again Bethesda.
    3) That forced a complete overhaul, requiring the use of global variable to keep track of player health. Funny thing, global variables do not work when trying to assign values greater than 1.0. So for a whole day, nothing worked until some poster said global variables need const. Const usually means constant which would make no sense, but it worked!Again, Bethesda got me good.
    4) Then the last thing to do was add dialog to player. Again that took a whole day because the dialog system won't work. Turns out, its just one little flag that's default needs to be unchecked each time. That Bethesda, such a kidder..

Well, I win, I feel like I beat Bethesda by getting this all working! Yay.
