You think you could instead make a mod that adds an extra "cage," that's really just a mercenary recruitment booth? It'd be cool to be able to hire extra help in guarding the settlements than just the usual street rabble with leather armor and pipe pistols.
I like the idea, never really thought about it since, as judostar says you can just equip your settlers. It's probably a bit beyond my skill level at the moment though, something to think about.

i was messing with this myself recently as this WAS a major oversight. Now i can build my BOS prison at starlight and hold matches.. now i jus need myself a Boyka
Yeah, It pretty much broke the idea of having an arena for me. Only so many animal fights I can watch! I was just messing around seeing if I could fix it for myself and since I got it working figured I may as well share. Hope you enjoy!
Thanks, I can finally make my Arena an actual Arena! Endorsed when I can I still can't believe bethesda didn't think of making it so the beam emitter make all hostile captures friendly.
I kind of understand why they didn't want the emitter to affect humans as it's supposed to be a "taming" tool for creatures but the fact that it pretty much breaks any use of the raiders and gunners in an arena was unacceptable for me.
I would like to eventually look into the possibility of adding a new item that pacifies raiders and gunners separately from other creatures and requires the intimidation perk but as I am just starting to learn about modding that is a bit out of my skill range yet!
i personaly dont use arena's in anyway but love watching them on youtube and this mod opens up many posabilities good work and thank you! as i say i dont use these types of mods so cant endorse or i would >.< i can give kudos tho
Finally! In vanilla, even if settlers were behind bullet-proof structures and the bipeds could in no way hurt them, the settlers always went mad. Good to see a mod that calms that s#*! down. Also, this helps prevent settlers from having to hurt each other.

NOPE! When my raiders/gunners are released they don't attack ... and stand there while my settler murderize them from the perimeter, lol!!!
