This is interesting, but you will most likely be getting a cease and desist at any moment, even if you aren't using mine craft assets, likeness issues and other copyright infringing issues are present. Good Luck!
Minecraft has a history of this kind of thing being done, and I am not trying to remake the game in fallout. This is a parody. And it's been done before in G-mod, Doom and other games. There is even a mod already on the nexus.
If Mojang is not happy with this little bit of fun I will of course act appropriately. But I feel this is more free publicity than any attempt to harm them financially. So no need to worry too much as long as I stay within the realm of parody and fair use.
I love minecraft! I got my whole family playing it, I own several accounts and have toys. My plush enderman is at this moment behind me.
Never really played minecraft but if you reskinned them into more realistic wood/concrete/steel textures you could release them as a "7 days to die" version. Not nitpicking and not offended if you think it is a bad idea. Just a suggestion since they use basically the same build concept with better textures.
Will d/l and endorse just for the creativeness and all the mincraft-heads I know.
No, there did not seem to be any point in doing that.
The original texture size for the minecraft blocks is 16x16, but the texture size for each side of the mineout blocks is 160x160 on a 512x512 canvas using a DXT5 compression.
This was done to keep a good quality to the textures and allow for future use and game stability.
If you like I can look into doing a hi res texture pack.
Clearly it was a joke I like this and the work behind it, Im not a minecraft player, never liked that itself but I do like the implementation into FO4 so no need to do a high res for this, but even if this is'nt my type of thing I will download and endorse for the creativity
edit: oh and one thing, make creature replacer to minecraft monsters, I bet fans will love that.
A cool way to introduce the mod could be to have a minecraft game holotape that when you 'play' it you are teleported into the game so to speak(taken to a minecraft world no more then a simple showcase worldspace)
And there you could have some sort of item you find that unlocks the mine blocks to be crafted outside the minecraft worldspace It could be berried in a mine somewhere

they don‘t do this despicable shit.
I always wanted a mod like this !
You should add more items (i.e. stairs, fences) or structures (homes, bases, etc)
Just kidding

There was going to be stairs in 1.0 but it all went a bit wrong with the collision.
