So ECO edits the MIRV, right? Confirmed that. Does this mod edit the MIRV??? Or the little tiny nades the MIRV spits out? Talkin about Nuka World DLC MIRV grenade many mods make craftable, namely ECO in this case.
My MIRV grenades aren't working how any of these mods intended tho. The little tiny frag MIRVS are hitting each other...or something, and blowing up before ever raining down. I need to stop that. I hope you can give me some advice here on how to stop that. It can't be your mod. But dam, I'm so lost. What in the world would cauuuuuuze this?
Oh I've had that problem lodes of times making airstrikes for Statesec. (Sorry for the late reply, Nexus never tells me when people comment since I explicitly asked them not to, not everyone is as nice as you.)
BUT, here's the deal: Your theory is absolutely right. The projectile of the MIRV clusters has destruction data. You can open them up in xEdit or the CK, and just edit it out. Basically just unchecking destruction data being enabled. Since the ammo object (the object I edited) and the projectile object (the object causing the problem) are two separate entities, this should permit you to solve the bug and enjoy the best of both worlds.
That being said, been ages since I made this, but knowing my signature style of only ever making 95% finished mods, I doubt I bothered with the DLC stuff. But who knows? Maybe I had some decent sleep for once, anyone's guess really.
Yes, you clearly aren't an explosives expert. Military-grade explosives such as C4 do *not* explode when shot. They explicitly had that in mind when selecting C4 as the formula of choice. If we were being entirely realistic:
Explosives would set off other explosives. Ballistic weapons such as guns would do nothing. Energy damage such as lasers would cause explosives to burn up, just like dry wood. It *might* go off if shot with a ballistic weapon while it is burning. Simultaneous Energy+Ballistic damage from a plasma weapon would set explosives off. Radiation damage such as from Gamma Gun would likely render the explosives inert if not burning it. (I'm not sure about this one.)
Edit: Oh of course you mean whilst the items are just world objects rather than when they're projectiles, realised this immediately after posting. Interesting.

I know people like you turn up and give your lectures, wrinkling your nose at the seemingly mystifying concept of fun. But that's what it is. Fun.
So go away.

Interesting.
