Adds more pet treats and treat recipes for spoiling your beastly pets :) Also a treat preference system!

When I "adopted" a RadStag to be with me in my travels, I noticed I didn't have a lot of variety of food to give to it. Mostly it was meat, or drugged food, and required very specific items instead of being able to just use the food I had lying around. It also didn't matter which treat you give to them. So I changed that.



Coming very soon will be a version that also supports "Exotic Creatures" (DLC Creatures).
This mod changes:

  • "Crispy Bits Treat" to "Sweet treat". Halved its HP regen. Added +15% Attack speed for 2 minutes.
  • "Meat Cake Treat" to "Meaty treat". Now uses Molerat steak model instead of Mirelurk Cake model.
  • "Spazz Out Treat" to "Tweaky Treat".
  • "Tweaky Treat" can be made directly combining any meat-based or sweet treat with Jet.
  • All Treat recipes are now in its own category in the campfire called "PET TREATS", so they don't clutter the "ROAST" category.
  • "Sweet Treat" uses Instamash and Nuka instead of Squirrel Bits and Nuka in its (original) recipe.

This mod adds:

  • "Fishy Treat". Made with those pesky mirelurks!
  • "Angry Treat". Lace its treat with psycho for added damage. Made with any Meat-Based or Sweet treat.
  • "Buggy Treat". Smells exactly as it looks like.
  • "Crunchy Vegetarian Treat". Popular with Radstags and Brahmin!
  • "Glowy Treat". Part of every ghoul and radroach balanced breakfast.
  • 25 new treat recipes.
  • Treat preference system (See below)
  • "Pet Feed Call Dogmeat" patch so you can use the Meaty Treat to give it to Dogmeat. This ensures that you have lots of recipes to make treats for Dogmeat too!

Treat preference system

Choose wisely which food do you give to your pets! Some prefer specific treats, are indifferent to some,or dislike other treats. Liked foods add 1 happiness, neutral foods add no happiness, and disliked foods remove 1 happiness.
It's pretty intutitive, most carnivorous animals like meat over sweets and vegetables, herbivore animals like vegetarian and sweet treats and don't like meat-based treats, and all creatures dislike cannibalizing their kind (I.E.: giving Fishy treats to a Mirelurk). It may take some trial and error, though.
The healing and satiation bonuses still apply, regardless of preference.
A Holotape can be crafted in the same PET TREATS category in the cooking workbenches that specifies all of the creatures likes and dislikes. See at the bottom of this page to see a the full list, if you want to spoil yourself.

Installation:
Simply install with NMM, and place it below Beast Master on your load order.



Future Plans:
  • Exotic Creatures Patch. ETA 6/10/17
  • New glowing material for the Glowy Treat.
  • A way for all the Glowing versions of creatures to like the Glowy Treat, regardless if the regular non-glowing version of the creature dislikes it or not. For now the fact that a creature is "Glowing" or not is irrelevant.
  • Better Holotape with submenus for each creature, also divided in one for critters (Requiring the Wasteland Whisperer perk) and another one for animals (requiring the Animal Friend perk).
  • Patch for "Pet-Call-Feed Dogmeat" (Done. See the optional section)
