Ugggh, I've been looking everywhere for a mod that adds these to the workshop! Of all the craftable things to leave out, this was one that annoyed me the most.

I downloaded this mod, and I can see the power connectors and string lights in the build menu, but I can't place them. How do I fix this?

For a second there I thought you'd found a way to string lights along a regular wire, which would make lighting MUCH EASIER!!!

Sorry, how do you make the conduit wires have lights? I've trid putting 2 of the custom conduits down and attaching wires to them and its normal wire...

Apologies if my instructions may have been a bit unclear but this mod will not make lights magically appear onto regular wire. The entire wire is just one static mesh of predetermined length with attached lights (found in the same category as all other settlement lights), and the conduits can make them transfer power while also helping with their placement.

Looks exactly like something I was looking for so I try it out. But why did you name te mod file Standard version? It is hard to know witch mod it is from viewing it in the mod Manager.

That sounds really odd, it shouldn't have just such a simple name, for me it shows as "Lightbulb Wire - Standard version". What if you go to settings and check the box "Allow NMM to update mod names" and then in the left bar "Fix download IDs and check for mod updates"?

I'm using version 1.0 because the whole using-conduits-to-place-these sounded like too much work for me. lol. Works great! Thank you! This version actually lights up properly, unlike the Homemaker version. AND you get more lengths to choose from. Endorsed!

Great mod! Could we get a .esl version?

I don't really actively mod for F4 anymore and, tbh this is the first I even heard of .esl format. Guess I've been out of the loop for a bit. ^^
I might look into it, just... don't hold yer breath.

Thanks for the mod. Highly recommended for anyone who:

    A) uses an ENB / ReShade with strong contrast for nights / shadows, and
    B) is greatly annoyed by all the workshop lights bleeding through walls

Especially worthwhile in places like The Castle, which looks absolutely horrible at night with the pre-placed vanilla lights, and can't be properly illuminated with any of the other workshop lights.
I'm also aware of the True Shadows mod, but since it turns all light sources in the game into shadowcasters, the performance hit is way too heavy. So this mod is a decent compromise. And of course the light strings are as lore-friendly as it gets :-)
