1. Deleted a considerable amount of audio files that were not being used. Some of the recordings didn't make the cut. This was done to reduce the file size of this mod for quicker download with the coming of the new content.
2. Athena is now using a prewar Mr. Handy constant noise. I still can't hear her... Maybe the creation kit is keeping me from adding that noise to characters it thinks is human. Athena uses a human body model because making full out robot followers is slightly more complex. The ambient noise might not be possible.
3. Added more getis id's to lines. I missed a few things
4. Made tons of lip files. Woooo
5. Revamped the way talk and tell me about yourself lines work. Athena will say each option once through at random but will say every line she has once before starting the list again. This will make her less inclined to repeat herself and hopefully be less irritating. I did this by adding her talk lines to a single group and make all children in this group random by default. This also allows me to see what's going on easier because the setup is more organized.

1. Added more combat lines as well as new types of detection lines. There are a lot of different lines characters say when enemies are there to fight. They have so many different stages of detection. ie: normal to combat, idle to combat, normal to combat, combat to lost. These are the things that will really make this npc look intelligent and not just a mindless machine.
2. Added more talk and tell me about yourself lines
3. Added more lines to creepy locations
4. Added more lines to high tech locations
5. Added a couple more taunt lines in combat
Thank you all for keeping an eye on the changelog! I do this because I love seeing projects and the progress they make! I also think when modders describe what they are doing it helps people who want to build their own mods. I do this because I love you!

NOTE:: I have tested this just now and Athena is working well without any significant issues that I can see. Since I have now doubled the audio this mod contains there may be a line or two that an npc that isn't Athena could say. If you see a stray dialogue in game please post what that line is and I will fix the issue. If this version has too many issues please uninstall in reinstall version 1.6.

Athena now is able to be sent to a workshop. The goal was to also enable her to be commandable and assigned to work but this seems to not be working correctly. Only tested with Far Harbor workshop. She might be commandable in commonwealth settlements. She still has the ability to follow and be a companion however this is an add on so she is more useful. I felt some users might not want to travel to the Science! Center every time they want to re-recruit her....
**NOTE: If you already have a companion and you recruit Athena there may be a wait for your previous companion's workshop reassignment screen to pop up. Just wait a while. Sometimes can take a minute or two. Best option would be to dismiss the previous companion before recruiting Athena 4.0

Noticed during testing that 1.4 was not allowing any "taunt" lines from Athena during combat. I did more tinkering and it seems to be back to normal. Not sure if it was a problem with my mod or if it was a game engine issue. Seems to be fine in 1.5 as of now

*Force end of dialogue when first meeting Athena if user calls her a liar *Re-worked combat. She should be less libel to die. I changed the combat class from "DEFAULT" to "Gunner Ranged". *Added a walking stick to inventory. Without a melee weapon she uses fists in close combat. Which made her look silly. *Set initial health to somewhere around 400? I don't remember the exact number.
Added content: *Gave Athena an ambient noise to make her sound more like a machine. She is using the assualtron idle noise. I always liked assualtrons... <3

Fixed issues with lines when Athena is in combat. She kept saying deathlines for every character's death. It was pretty annoying...
I got a problem with her getting naked after fast travel and then need to re-equip armor and clothes on her again, this is the only companion i have this problem with the rest keep what i have equipped on them on. I try figure out how to keep her dressed, i put a vaultsuit and combat armor on her. She still have her sequin dress int he inventory i thought it was script which put back original clothing but it doesn't seem to be it for then would she pick up the dress instead of going naked, feel free to give suggestion on how to keep her dressed. But after all she warned that she may have bugs for she is a prototyp so it may be one of her bugs to not understand that ppl should maybe be dressed in public.
Edit: I found out why she strip naked it was because i had the robot body activated and changed my mind and deactivate it, so now she strip naked every time she load in.
It is a travesty that this mod has only 5800 downloads. Athena's personality is like a cool, refreshing beverage in the heat of summer compared to what is normally "acceptable" from an NPC in Fallout 4.
The voice acting is superb, the selection of songs in her repertoire is refined and playful with ever a touch of distant sorrow, and the variation in her dialogue content always keeps me entertained. She is witty and completely random at the same time.
My only complaint about the mod is that Athena has so few lines of dialogue overall and I want MORE (lol!!).
I know that this is an incredible effort but I would really like for Athena to have double or triple the lines of dialogue (selfish, I know).
Anyway, I want to thank you for the mod as Athena is without question one of the most unique and memorable companions available for Fallout 4.
I love this mod , she is quirky fun and makes em laugh at her choices of what she comments on and how she reacts to things. She is now one of my fav companions for play throughs alone with , Heather and Ellen these companions feel so much better realized than the standard companions. Thank you so muchfor such an incredible work of love and art.
Hmm, she seems intriguing. Let's see what happens when I team her up with another crazy synth/robot, one even less inhibited and a bit more foul mouthed.
Hello again. I just wanted to thank you for updating Athena and adding to her. I really enjoy having her along especially for her singing. Some songs she sings are actually soothing and its a really nice thing to have being in such a complete wasteland. I really hope that you will maybe add more singing and dialogue to her as she has always been really awesome to have around. Again thank you for Athena.
I haven't tried this yet but it I haven't tried this yet but it might work. Go into your data folder then scripts and delete idlesmoking. I have no idea what will happen to the mod if you do this so please be warned and backup your savegame
