BROKEN. It removes the lamp post's collision and makes it impossible to move or scrap it after building :/

Just a little hint. Your mesh is in the folder \setdressing\workshop instead of \dlc02\setdressing\workshop. It's probablay the reason why people are complaining about seeing no changes :)

Light radius and shadows not working in Far Harbor. I hear the sounds. Lamps I built in Sanctuary had the effects, and the wall lamps work properly in Far Harbor. I see also that fire barrels built in far harbor are not putting out proper light. Something is going on with light sources in Far Harbor.
    Anybody out there?

Unfortunately this mod isn't working for me. The lamp just isn't showing up in the menu. I see that others have had this problem - was there ever a solution? The only mod I have installed that affects lighting is buildable campfires which has its own menu under Deco>Misc.

I have Homemaker and USO installed, and a lot of my vanilla items do appear under USO, but I have checked all folders that have a Deco>Misc category and the lamp doesn't show up anywhere.

I'd be grateful for any advice as Far Harbor needs this mod! Many thanks.

Moi aussi, la lampe ne s'affiche pas. Je n'ai pourtant aucun mod qui modifie les lumières. J'ai tout essayé, l'ordre de chargement, le mettre manuellement, mais rien de rien. Dommage, c'est un bel éclairage.

Different issue to mine as I don't use workshop rearranged. I still never got this mod to work though - I only have the vanilla lamps which are dim and useless.

These are super dim for me, nothing like the screenshots. Made sure there were no conflicts, low in load order, etc. - they're very faint, both versions. Anyone else get this?

The wall oil lamps patch works fine, bright as the screenshots. But the streetlamps are as dim as vanilla.

Well, I must say these are pretty damn good. Those shadows are really damn aggressive but I don't use that version lol.

That being said, I have a problem where the light just turns off and I have to select and then unselect them in the menu to get the light back. I'm just wondering if this is something you need to know about or if it's some obvious mod conflict of some sort... I do seem to recall the vannila spotlight turrets having a similar problem.

Vanilla bug i am afraid, sometimes it happens sometimes it doesn't. Not having a lot of light sources helps.

I'm having the same issue with the lights. Really frustrating.

FO4Edit might be able to help you, open all your mods and when it's done loading right click and select "apply filter" that will show you all your conflicts, start with the red records. Personally i haven't encountered that issue in a long time.

It's not a mod conflict. And a lot of people are having it. It's a bug in the vanilla set up from all that I'm reading. There have been several suggestions that I've tried and nothing works. Several people are frustrated by it.

I've been running into this too every time I fast travel back to sanctuary. As nice as oil lamps were, I'm just going to scrap them all and rig up floodlights to the whole area.

Could it be related to the searchlight bug? I know that is (mostly) fixed by a mod that makes changes to the meshes. It could be a similar mesh edit that needs to be made to the oil lamps?

Is there a fix for this bug/glitch yet? This bug is making me frustrated.

In Mod Organizer 2, the new v1.6 of this mod doesn't install and MO gives the message
    ---------------------------
    Error
    ---------------------------
None of the available installer plugins were able to handle that archive
    ---------------------------
It worked fine on the previous version (1.5?), and I'm not sure if I've ever seen this problem in MO2. The archive is a RAR while most Nexus downloads are ZIP or 7Z, but I see that's not the problem - because the current "Visual Reload" mod uses a RAR archive, and MO2 has no problem with it. I used the 7zip app to manually extract and install, and 7zip has no problem with this RAR. I know MO2 will not get much support, since it's own development seems inactive, but just thought I'd share this info, in case there's many other MO2 users out there.

Both the "shadow" and " no shadow" installers give that same MO2 issue, while the older "optional" installer causes no issue for it.

Edit: Not sure if this is relevant.. When you use the Nexus download page for this mod, and when you use the "magnifying glass" button to view the file contents of the download... Both new downloads show a blank list, while the older one shows an actual list of files. I've not noticed that before with other mods. Sometimes brand new uploads have weird Nexus problems though, I don't know.

Try to download it manually and then add it to MO2.

I downloaded both of the new files the manual way, but MO2 gives the error same message when it tries to install from either of / both of the downloaded files. 7Zip app says these two archive files are fine. Maybe it's some slight difference in the archive format that MO2 should have been bug-fixed to accomodate - but probably never will. Easy enough for MO2 people to work around though.

Thank you. I confirm it works in MO2's installer (tested both shadows and no-shadows files).

fyi, if you want to save some spaces from your total plugins limit you can simply copy all the entries from the wall oil lamp patch into the master oil lamp esp file using FO4Edit, then deactivate the patch esp. also thanks for this outstanding mod as well as the patch!
