Shoeburglar, Please do come back to this mod. This gun is beautiful, and needs to be in the game. I won't DL it until the issues are worked out, though. It is a perfect example of a unique, yet lore friendly weapon. Kudos, and keep at it, sir!
Just realised I've had this mod on for hundreds of hours and have never seen it in game. I understand how to acquire it through the console but the goal was really to give some variety to enemies. Hopefully this gets sorted out, it's a nice looking weapon.
Author forgot to include compiled script that injects weapon to the leveled lists (its source is included). There were a couple fixes for this here on Nexus but they both are hidden for some reason. I can send you a compiled script if you PM me, or you can compile it yourself if you know how to do this (compile PlasmaCyclerLLInject.psc and place it into the Scripts directory).
Thanks and sorry I never replied to you, I've been toying around with the CK and FO4Edit so sounds like an interesting project for myself in the future.
I have included the missing .pex script in my FCaB patch for this weapon. If you just want the script, you can manually download the patch and extract the PlasmaCyclerLLInject.pex file to your Fallout4/Data/Scripts folder. If you already started a game with the weapon mod, you'll need to open the console and type "resetquest xx00B708" where "xx" is the index of this mod (depends on the mod's position in your load order) then type "startquest xx00B708" to start the Leveled Lists injections.
I love this pistol, makes for a fun little backup weapon... but it needs some love after all this time, like a fix for the Loki variant, and some sights/scopes.
Definitely my favorite energy weapon mod for the game. It's perfectly fitting, and damage doesn't seem OP Any point in using the leveled-list installation though?
I bought the LOKI version (couldn't find any others). fires fine in VATS but when I hip fire it turns into a very fast automatic and continues firing even after I let off the button. activating/deactivating pip-boy stops it. any ideas?
Why is there muzzle flash on an energy weapon? Not only does it take over my whole screen every time I fire as it's poorly implemented, but also there's no way a non-ballistic weapon would cause muzzle flash. Muzzle flash is caused by the gunpowder explosion within a cartridge. PLEASE come out with a version that removes muzzle flash, it can't be that time consuming.
I've used this mod in the past before and it worked fine but for my most recent play through the gun does not appear in the game. I've had the mod installed since the beginning of the game and i'm now level 22 and still can't find it anywhere. I've even installed the mod that's supposed to fix the level list bug but still i can't find it. Is there any command I can use to just give one to me?
The first person camera seems to be a little lopsided when you hold this gun, but straightens back to normal when aiming down the sights. Very disorienting.
Is the Loki version supposed to only have the Loki barrel and receiver available? 'cause if so I feel like I just got majorly ripped off as it nearly cost me 10k caps to buy. I wanted this specifically for the silencer and with explosions this makes using the weapon around friendlies a terrible idea, especially settler NPCs during a raid. You'll end up killing as many settlers as you kill enemies. It'd have been nice if you described the weapon a little better and told us what the unique properties were of Loki instead of just that it has unique properties.
