Better Recon Scope - Retexture

Description:

This retexture simply darkens the Recon Scope down to a very dark gunmetal grey with a subtle dark red banding. The standard cream coloured body and orange banding was just too bright for my liking. This mod replaces both the pistol and rifle variants of the Recon Scope.

How to install in 2 easy steps:

1.
If this is your first texture mod for Fallout 4, it's dead simple.

Go to your Fallout 4 Data folder, eg (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Fallout 4\Data). Combine the "Texture" folder in the .rar with the one in Fallout4\Data...or add the contents of the Texture folder to the one you have already.

2.
This part requires editing one .ini file to let the game look for new textures. Without this step, your textures won't show in game.

Go to C:\Users\*Your name*\Documents\My Games\Fallout4...then open "Fallout4.ini"

Scroll down the section labelled [Archive]

Look for the line "sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\"

Change it to the following,
sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\

DONE!
