Instead of making new Weapons I decided to make a few Mods for this weapon, they are available right now to download as the version SplatterV2 of this Weapon.
Mods Info: Hardcore -> Standard Mod that comes attached to this weapon when you make it or hack it in, it will kill you. Pansy -> Places a Mini Nuke Explosion on you when you hit something, if you have good enough armor or player build you can live. Extremely Pansy -> Places a Frag Grenade Explosion at the living thing that you hit instead of at you for even less damage to yourself.
None of these mods require anything to make or to attach to the weapon, have fun!
***Additional Note: If you are looking to assign this weapon to Settlers or other people that you do not have access to their inventory and want to watch them blow up instead look at my other mod called NPC Inventory Manipulating Sniper Rifle. It opens up any NPCs inventory and allows you to equip what you want, unequip what you don't want, and take what you want.
just overkill wtih it take of things to make the bomb itself, is 1 mini nuke not fine? and maybe a bit more but 25 nuke mini is overkill but of cause i love this idea
You know, this is just awesome. As soon as I read the description I got some ideas and am going to install this. Great idea. I'm gonna see if I can equip a companion with it.....then send them after someone. And if that works, I'm gonna equip everyone in my settlement with one and spawn in some enemies and watch the fun, lol. Thanks for this.
It all went as planned.....well kinda. I gave it to piper then killed a few settlers and she chased me all over the place trying to hit me with it and finally got me. Thank you for such a good laugh
This is something I'll never use but God damn is it hilarious! The fact that it requires idiot savant 3 is enough to give me a solid chuckle. I'm downloading it just to give the endorsement. Funny stuff, dude! Well done.
Sometimes when you mod, you just gotta say "f*ck it" and make crazy stuff... I couldn't help myself. Long ago I made a mod called "The Weaponening" it included 10 Weapons all of which for fun, and the Suicider Bomb was one of them, but it didn't actually function and I got some comments from people (Youtube or not) that wanted it to function... FIXED!
More versions to come as well with less suicide... might have to name those differently, regardless though it will proc an explosion with a melee weapon so Idiot Savant 3 will stay as I used it properly lol.
Hey, whatever you do, this one is going on my tracking list for sure. If anyone can create a "less suicide" version of a suicide bombing, it's you. Good luck, Derpsdale. I'm looking forward to whatever it is you'll do next, you psyco!

@BigBaggie: If you have seen my other mod Necroz - The Death Betrayer there is a resurrection script, I can try to play with that actually. I just have a feeling once you die it automatically triggers the death scene followed by the loading screen. Scripts can occur very rapidly I will throw that in there and test it, be funny if you got the death scene then just resurrected.
The part where they don't explode would make this difficult, it was already made difficult by the fact that I tried to get in the leveled items lists for SM Suiciders, but I couldn't get it to work right.
I could add a code for a random percentage generator and have it add the weapon only if it hits between a certain percentage. For right now though I am going to leave it with the Mods and the potentially less suicide depending on how you mod it.

...make it a (rare?) drop from suicider super mutants that don't explode? Not sure how good your script-fu is...
