it says it's compatible with 3rd party content but does that include 3rd party power armors like t65 or x03 etc?

The specific armor set in use isn't the issue.  The issue is whether or not that armor set is installed in one of the frames as provided by the base game.  Use a normal PA frame from the game.  If there's another one out there, I'd love to know about it.

    I don't get it

MTAF cannot use this destination because a non-target Power Armor Frame is to close to it.

I had a power armor on it that I moved there with this mod. Put a companion in it. It is now using that armor. I have a pad on each side of it that works. I moved all armor away on the pads next to it. uninstalled the mod. reinstalled. twice. Still will not work.

There appears to be a random bug not just with this mod, but with another of mine that detects how close to a PA workbench a PA furniture item is.  They use totally different code to do it, too, which (almost totally) rules out the possibility that the issue is on my end.  It may be that the game just keeps the PA furniture object "around" even though it is in use and has moved it away.

I've added it to the list of things to look at when I get around to it, but figuring out how to verify for sure what the underlying issue is might take a while.

      EDIT:

As a follow-up, would you be able to verify that this happens consistently with more than one target location, or is it just one particular target location?

      Thanks.

Sorry. I just read this now only because I wanted to suggest something to you. I don't know why I do not get messages from nexus on this kind of thing.

Yea. It was only one spot. It was inside the castle past crumbled wall turn left and about the middle to two thirds way on stone floor before the corner.

If I run into anymore. I'll let you know.

Anyways the suggestion was to put some of those pads on the roof of homeplate so your power armor looks like the large statues of old cities overlooking/guarding the plaza/market area. Maybe even on some of the other roofs if you can jump or access them. I always wanted to do that till I just moved everything to the castle. If I had that. I'd probably stash a few there since I have home plate connected running also.

If it's just one spot, there may be a bugged frame and/or a frame Bethesda placed and deactivated for some reason.  I'll try to see what I can come up with if I get the time.  I've made a note about this so that I'll remember it.

And thanks for the mats on top of Home Plate idea.  I can't believe I didn't think of that.  Once again, if I get the time, I'll make that happen.

As somebody who only ever uses the ability to change the power armor ownership, i dislike how i can't put away the holotape without console hassle.
Still use the mod though cause it's handy to have. Well made too btw

Thanks.  I understand there are a handful of users of my mods that don't like the way I make holotapes quest items, but this was to compensate for the users that kept losing the tapes some years back.  That's going to annoy some people, but it ended up being the better choice for just about everyone else.

Activate mat at home, find frame in the world at the ass end of nowhere, target frame and poof, its back at the shop...?

If thats the case, what step am I missing, it works when I tested it with a frame and mat next to each other but not cross country?

There is no distance requirement as such since the only conditions are a frame and destination (mat, workbench, display station, etc.) selected with which to finalize the move request. What you're describing is certainly possible in theory, but there is a time limit of two real-world minutes to select the next piece and finalize the move. And oddly enough, this wasn't by any means intended to stop someone from up and moving a frame from the other end of the map, but rather as a safety precaution because the game allows one (or both, depending on mods installed) of the target objects to be destroyed.

Ah, that will explain it, just I hate fast travel but having to manually take frames back is a real pita so was hoping to bypass it but It must be timing out, fair enough.

Good Day and thank you for such a useful mod! I also like It even integrates with the Power Armor displays from Contraptions. I have a feature request. Would it be possible to add support for the "Power Armor Stations with Lights by Thirdstorm", present in the mod "Armor and Weapon Keywords Community Resource (AWKCR)"? Thank you for your time and considerations.

I could easily do that. I'll make a note to do so for the next time I roll around to working on this mod.

Good news! Upgrading to the Chronicle package management system has eliminated the issue of sometimes needing to uninstall / reinstall. We're back to in-situ updates again!

great work! and that work perfect with "alternative" powerarmor station http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/2328/? . its perfect alternative to "power armor display", if they cause huge fps drop (if u use 40-60 of them).
