I addmit it took me several tries after getting in game to find it. Given that 200 + years have passed, it was likely covered and recovered in mud many times due to high water during flooding along the creek, I am not surprised it took a while to find. She has it now in my run. I named her Nora Addams. I thought it would be interesting to name Nate and Nora for that family given its importance not only to the very early history of the USA, but to the Commonwealth as well. Now she has her laser rifle, her knife and her pistol alongh with the rest of the gear in the bag I started exploring the area around Sanctuary Hills. I am on Surival Mode so I am being extra cautious in my patrols. At being nearly fresh out of the Vault even with her gear Nora is not ready to take on Gristle and his gang to rescue Preston and the Quincy Surivors. Tried that once already and Level 5 is a B*tch. I will say for low level the Laser Rifle sure helped in clearing the Raiders inside the Museum of Freedom. The .45 was a blessing too. Though I used one of the Frag Grenades found in the mailbox by the South Bridge at Sanctuary to clear the room with the two guys waiting in ambush.
@Wintergallows so far the only problem I have encountered is the weight when playing in Survival Mode. I often have to stash some of the gear from the Bugout Bag in my player's cabin in a footlocker or a wall locker. I usually keep the weapons, ammo, food, water, and armor, but I cut back on what she carries of the food and water. Then because of another mod I have I get her a military camping backpack which adds 35 pounds to the carry weight capacity. Still I have to be careful on what she carries and picks up. Unlike in other modes ammo and other supplies have weight, a lot of weight sometimes. Hobbling back to the main base at Sanctuary Hills is a pain.
Go down the the stream behind Nate & Nora's house. Turn right and go up to the tricycle in the stream. Turn around and it'll be at the base of the trees there. Look at the first picture, you'll see the tricycle in the water and the duffle on the right of the pic. I had to wander around awhile to find it because I didn't actually notice the water in the picture.

There's also something wrong with the links to your own mods. They result in a DNS Server error because you added http in front of the address...
