    Finally got around to removing a variety of different mods from a bunch of pipe weapons - your mod works like a charm. There are a couple of reversions where a bit of material might be needed, but those are minor and quite rare so hardly worth worrying about.

    A very useful mod, especially early on when some resources are quite scarce. Many thanks!

    Which components are considered "standard" and which materials will it require with the mod installed?

      Any gun mod that the wiki says is standard is considered standard.
      Typically:
      -Standard Receiver
      -Short Barrel
      -Small Magazine
      -Standard Grip
      -Iron sights

      Standard mods will require no materials to craft (much like the 'no muzzle' attachment).

    I think this is a much needed modification to the vanilla game, but I am concerned that it will conflict with Valdacil and Gambit77's Armor and Weapons Keywords mod, and possibly other weapons mods. Could you tell us how your mod works?

      I don't know if it will conflict or not (I'm not an experienced modder) but I don't think it will because it has no scripts.

      I made it by going through all the crafting recipes for the mods manually and deleting the components for the standard ones.

      However if a mod adds a new weapon with its own components, my mod will not affect it and it will require materials to craft.

      That's what I was hoping to hear. If you just edited the crafting recipes, and didn't touch the weapons or mods themselves, then there should not be a problem.
