      have you tried an older version? thatll be my next idea if redownloading/reinstalling it doesnt work. UPDATE, it didnt work. somethings wrong with the mod now. UPDATE, the oldest one works.

    Is the LevelUpMenuEx mod a hard requirement ? Because I really don't like the UI of it.

      For anyone else who might be wandering the same, no you don't need it. Tested it and I can get all perks at level 5.

      I've used this mod back in 2017 when I played the game. Came back to reinstall it and I have no idea why is it a requirement now. I'm in the same boat as you, really don't like that mod and don't want to install some random useless nonsense bloating my game.

    are you sure this doesn't undo any perk related bug fixes from UFO4P?

    for example, 2 ranks of the chemist perk require 5 INT instead of 7 but this was fixed in UFO4P

    however now its back when using your mod.

      I looked into it and my mod is working as intended. The Chemist perk is supposed to be 7 Intelligence, but my mod makes the INT requirements scale. Rank 1 requires 4, rank 2 requires 5, rank 3 requires 6, and rank 4 requires 7.

      fair enough...before i was just wondering if there were any other perk related bugs since the mod is based off vanilla instead of UFO4P.

      if that even makes sense.

      Yeah, no problem. The bug in vanilla was rank 1 and 2 required 7 INT, and rank 3 and 4 required 5 INT, which didn't make sense so I fixed it.
