is there a certain point where the higher level minutemen spawn in more commonly or replace the lower levels? i am around lvl 170 yet i only get wardens and sentinals. i also get almost no sort of ranger or veteran ranger apart from checkpoints and the battle of the institute which irritates me. is there anyways i can get them to replace low levels?

Anyone know if this is compatible with Minutemen (Radiant) Squads?

*I posted this in the forum. I'm new here so I'm not sure if people use that or if they only post here so I'm doubling up*

I'm a ps5 player and I love this mod and it's the one that's finally made me bite the bullet and get FO4 for PC and the creation kit. I want to create a similar mod to this that is still compatible with my PlayStation version of the game as that's where my several-hundred-hour save file is. I really just want to create the same mod but for other factions like the Institute, Enclave or BoS (preferably using the CC content in the case of the Enclave which i've seen other mods do as well).

I don't want to steal anyone's work but it would obviously be much easier for a newbie like me to edit an existing mod like this one to add another faction rather than start from scratch. I also want to replicate the changes to artillery and the flare gun and I'm not sure if that is difficult to do yet or not.

I'd love some feedback, preferably from the creator of the mod, but if anyone else knows a good guide for editing levelled lists, npc names etc I would very much appreciate it.

Hi sir, is this mod compatible with more minuteman patrols? On your page it says dont istall any mods that edit patrols, but i read elsewhere that it wouldnt do any problems. Im kind of lost to be honest, could you help me please? Once I downloaded both of them on xbox and never had any issues, but that was back at the medieval times.. :D

i downloaded the mod but the flaregun only spawns 2 minutemen and they are default minutemen, not buffed versions even though im at level 18. none of the buffed minutemen have been spawning at all. just defaults

Does this mod only reference vanilla items, or does it introduce new things like paintjobs and such? Only I'm using a texture replacer that I'm very fond of and all the minutemen mods I've tried so far are either completely incompatible with it, or introduce new equipment with non-vanilla textures that doesn't fit with the modded textures.

Also, does it cause the minutemen summoned with the flare gun to level with the player, or are they still level 1 chumps but with better gear?

Edit: I've answered the second question by looking through the esm with FO4Edit, yes, it does cause those minutemen to level with the player. Quite why Bethesda chose to set it only to the lvl1 minuteman when there are already leveled minutemen in the game, I'll never know.

Edit2: As far as I can tell, it just creates armour sets etc for the minutemen out of existing assets, so it *should* be good to go and not ruin immersion with having several different textures all at once. Time to load it up!

Not sure this is entirely the case. I obtained the CC faction armor skins, and discovered running Buffed Minutemen Militia (BMM) the crafting bench paint option failed to show on any Minuteman designated armor piece BMM created (such as those found on the fallen MM in Concord near the house by the church, and the Super Duper Mart garage in Lexington). The assets may originate in the vanilla game, but the objects are distinct from vanilla. CC faction armor, at least, doesn't recognize them. Also, the combat armor leg weight bug (R leg +2 lbs) reappears with BMM. This all stopped when I de-installed BMM. This mod's going on 6x years, so patches unlikely, it seems.
