As it currently stands, the little elements like the screws are all just painted over with the wood grain. A little handiwork on those elements would make it look less like a plastic shell with a wood design slapped onto the pip-boy. The shiny nature of the pip-boy also seems a bit intense for wood. Wood can be shiny but in this case it looks, like I said before, like plastic with a wood paint job. Since it's described as hand carved in the mod description, I'm assuming it's meant to be actual wood, and not just a wood design. With that in mind, it seems like it would benefit from some handiwork on the texturing to make it look less like a printed on design. All in all I'm no texture artist and I have little experience with wood work, but at a glance it doesn't entirely look, to me, like it's a hand carved case for a pip-boy. It's a good start in that direction, though.
Very sleek, very hipsterish If the frame around the screen itself was plastic/Bakelite I'd use it in an instant! As it is now, I'll down it and endorse simply to show appreciation for the fine work so far!
