I must say Pausilipos fix is good but i found a easier way. Go in to \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data\materials\NewerMind43\Actors\ make a new folder called BoS_Pilot move BoS_Pilot.bgsm in to the newly created folder. go play the game. problem solved for the pink armor. No need to use nifscopes.
Thanks for the fix. Crazy that this mod has gone untouched so many years while still being broken. Sadly, still don't have an answer for the .nif bone bug that makes the jacket go invisible at certain angles.
Whenever I equip the outfit itself, the clothing shows clear but glitches in and out of existence. It vanishes and jumps in and out like it's there but not there.
cbbe version not loading textures correctly, but they're showing in bodyslide and they're in the download but ingame just getting a pink amorphous suit
Sorry, my English is not perfect. This issue occurs because some files have incorrect entries. To solve this problem, you need to download "nifskope" from GitHub (https://github.com/niftools/nifskope/releases). Once the download is complete, unzip the archive to any location on the drive. Next, go to your ....data/tools/bodyslide/shapedata. In this directory, find two folders named "Bos Pilot Armor" and "Bos Pilot Jacket". These folders contain files with the "NIF" extension. Open The BoS Pilot Armor.nif (not .osd) with nifskope. In the lower left corner you will see list. Find "strings" line on this list. Click the arrow to the left of the "strings" line and you will see a long drop-down list. Go down to the end of the list and you will see the line materials\NewerMind43\Actors\BoS_Pilot\bos_pilot.bgsm. Double-click and edit it to look like materials\NewerMind43\Actors\bos_pilot.bgsm (press enter to apply the changes). Then save the file by pressing ctrl + s (you will see a pop-up notification, just click ok). Close the program. Repeat this process for the Bos Pilot jacket (all exactly the same). To fix the gloves, you need to do all of this too, but the path to the gloves files is different. You'll find Gloves.nif and 1st_Gloves.nif (this one for 1st person textures) in ........data\meshes\actors\NewerMind43\FemaleArmor (for gloves, line that you are editing is not at the bottom and about the middle of the drop-down list). After all this, rebuild Bos pilot jacket and Bos pilot armor in bodyslide. Hope it will be helpfull.
Can somebody else make a modification to this suit? I wanted to have it so it would have a right arm long sleeve and single glove. It would look like maya's suit from borderlands 2, which I'm looking for to make a roleplay run.
