[WHAT IS IT] This mod adds new textures to melee weapon impacts... In vanilla fallout 4 , hitting a material or a surface of some sort, with a melee weapon had no noticeable effect. this mod changes that. any surface that you hit with a melee weapon will now place a decal. Ex: Hitting a concrete wall with a sledgehammer, you will be able to notice a crack.
[Adds 58 new Impact textures For Bladed, Blunt, And Unarmed Weapons]
[Adds new impactData sets] for specific weapons. vanilla fallout 4 , would have multiple weapons share the same impact data, for example a rolling pin shared the same data as a baton.
[Adds Enhanced lighting effects to Shishkebab]
[Fixes "Metal rocks" Impact] You ever noticed how hitting a rock with a knife sounds and looks like your hitting metal?I went ahead and changed it to stone instead of metal.
NOTE: that decals in fallout 4 are funky, so if you hit a surface and no decals appear, remember that its the game engine limitation. Also some decals are subtly so be sure to look closely
this mod does have some flesh impact/bloodhits, My textures try to mimic bruising and small cuts from blunt weapons/unarmed. if you install this mod over ebt it will overwrite. I think it comes down to personal preference but be sure to try both.
