Just FYI - one minigun is now worth so much that you could buy everything from every merchant COMBINED, five or ten times over. At Ten Charisma with no trade related perks one minigun is now worth over 2 MILLION CAPS, take that into consideration if you are planning a scavenger/scarcity/survival runs.
I think i can say this hint.. since it is not directly about the author of the mod in question nor the website in question either.
::hint:: My first step of research landed me looking for an author from FONV mods who I thought might be responsible for this work.
This author has released several famous "armor packs" and his name is Dragbody. Again he IS NOT the author of the mod in question, I just thought he might be the guy i was looking for..
Googling where his mod work now resides I ended up on Reddit where I found some people talking about his "armor packs"
While reading about Dragbody's fantastic work on FONV mods I stumbled across the name of a mod community website I had not heard of before..
After making an account I thumbed through their "public release" FO4 mods and I might have gotten lucky..
I hope this helps just enough, I know what it's like to endlessly chase after some mod out of a pic. Hell I spent 2 days looking for this
::: PS ::: > If what I have said here in this hint violates the author of the mod in question's sensibilities in anyway I will happily remove this post or anyone with that power happily do it for me.
Also I sincerely hope that I have not violated Dragbody's sensibilities, tho I lean towards no because he still has some FONV stuff on nexus and I did not mention the actual website in question.
I will check this post frequently over the next few days to see if anyone says anything about it.
Again sorry in advance if I have said to much, someone stop me if so.
Much Love My Modding friends,
Godspeed you beautiful Modders! Make those games unique and entertaining!
are u kidding that doesnt help anything at all and why would the author not want downloads and endorsements i think that your just doing this to be a doushe no offence but thats kinda lame to all us who are wanting the mod nextime use a default armor if ur gonna withhold intel. hehehe you like that armor heheheh well i wont tell u hehe
its because he is not located in this website and he told everyone not to spread the website location or give a link so that no one will just add the files to nexus i gave my respect for him since the owner is also in the military. you look for it yourself there is google for you
So basically, you show a mod that is not on the NMM, and then when people ask about it, you refuse to tell them when all you had to do was use any other outfit before you took the picture. If you knew that people were going to ask about the armor, why didn't you just not include the armor in the picture?
That mod armor is most likely from the Gun Network because Drag body has done a lot of New Vegas mods. I, personally, will never use the Gun Network ever again due the high level of complications and disorganization that is contained within their community. With that being said, if I ever see their work on NMM, I will personally report it because 1. it is wrong to upload someone else work without permission because LordOfWar went through something very similar on the Nexus, and I love LordOfWar as a modder. And 2. Being a modder myself, I would never want my work to be stolen and uploaded.
With that being said, I love your mod, and please keep modding! However, please don't include mod armors in your picture section if you don't want them to be exposed in the first place. This whole topic could've been completed avoided if the armor was not included in any of the snap shots to begin with. Gun Network mods shouldn't even be featured on the Nexus if you wish to avoid them being stolen. There are hundreds of outfits on the Nexus, and this is suppose to be a community where we help and promote one another on the Nexus. It's the reason why Nexusmods is so much better than the Gun community. If you don't want Gun Network mods to be exposed, maybe posting pictures with them and exposing them might not be such a good idea...
I love the mod!! The only thing I notice (and it may just be me)... is that after the barrels power up to fire... they suddenly freeze rotation while it's firing. Is this supposed to be similar to the frame-rate-freeze seen by video cameras when their capture rate is equal to the RPM of the barrels? Or, is this a glitch that freezes the animated rotation while firing at an increased rate? Just curious. It can be overlooked, but it is noticeable.
Thanks :-) the reason why it stops animation is because the speed is too high. i will try to fix the animation if you want me too make a new weapon mod like a heavy laser minigun version or 10mm ill try
Slight issue- The Gau-8 is the size of a small car and just the gun without any ammo or a feed system weighs better than six hundred pounds. A more accurate designation would be m134 or m214, both of which were designed to be man-portable weapons systems. Yes, it is pedantic and minor, but I would rather be an ass and see accurate mods than not.
I served in the United States Air Force as a weapons loader from 1988 to 1998 and I have seen this gun. The Gau-8 is a 30mm 7 barreled gun that sits in the A-10. The round is as big as my forearm. A single barrel alone is a 2-man lift and close to 8ft long. Its not a portable thing.
You are playing a game with giant mutants, zombie like creatures, robots with personalities, but you draw the line at a portable version of a mini gun?!
you know modern firearms mod in the 2.11 version there is a gun called kwk 8mm it is a tank gun and only meant for tanks it is not supposed to be portable. i know the gau-8 is a minigun as big as a car but it is only because of the barrel and the drum mag. if you disagree lets just say this mod is not lore friendly

Did I miss something?
does it have another name, or does it reside outside of pack 1 & 2?
sorry to continue drawing out info on this subject, but damn thats a NICE scarf lol
:::ahh think i might have figured it out, is it attached to one of the outfits?
