Dude, when you go to download the files, it says the most recent supported game patch was 1.9.4.0. Most people who are modding an old version of the game are modding 1.10.163.0, i believe, and this mod needs to be updated for THAT old version. The Next Gen update is version 1.10.980.0
Step 1: download his MOD. Step 2: Look at his introduction,about the long part, all three MODS.(Shadow Boost Fix-52327-1-10-163-0-1622256720, ShadowBoost_1.9.4.0, xdelta3 GUI 1.0.7) Click the start of your computer, Click Run, and enter CMD. Step 3: (TIPS: My path is E: \ 1)So enter e: in CMD and press enter,then enter CD E:\1 and press enter. You can enter DIR to check the directory. If there are no mistakes, paste his code. And good luck!
I fully endorse this very positive mod. It does exactly what it claims to do. My game plays SO much better. Frames are more stable through-out. Is there a way to stop the Version-checker from popping up every time you open the game? It's the only complaint I have:)
