Greetings from the future!) Is this mod a fix for navmeshes and invisible raiders / ghouls? The original mod forces settlers to walk around the vicinity of sanctuary hills all the way to Abernethy farm and a landfill with a prototype sentinel, which makes me burn in my lower body )
Gah, I've just finished a new patch for v14, and was planning on uploading that tomorrow.
As v15 is now out, I'll have to postpone that. I want to make sure Ex0dus13 has finished messing around with the main mod before I upload another update - I've finished playing myself, and don't have the time for continuous support.
I'll give it another week in case v15 throws up any more bugs, then if not, I'll get a patch for v15 released then.
I think the patch thing would be easier if you just copied these few instances of different references into a new plugin which most likely would then be version independant.
This is a bit off topic but... since you have played through it, how do you get into the reactor room? Just curious, I got to the overseer and talked to him and he unlocked the door out but there was talk about some kid that is still lurking around somewhere and I couldn't figure out how to get into the reactor. o.O
And yeah, I can only imagine how you feel making a fallout 4 mod, the creation kit hasn't even been released yet and there are soooo many mods that are being constantly outdated/bugged by official updates. I have seen more updates for Fallout 4 come up on my Steam client than any other game and usually they are large updates (500-700MB). I noticed a lot of the really good mods (like Concealed Armor) are basically abandoned now, which is a shame. I guess people just got tired of updating them over and over every month.
@ sunshineacid, yeah that's what I did for the v14 patch, but still need to check what has changed in v15; it'd be great to have a patch that is fully version independent, but things don't always work out that way.
Is there any chance that the next version of this could change the door from reading 114 to 80 and the vault suits sitting there to read 80? They aren't lootable anyway but it's still weird.
Many thanks! I feel silly for caring so much about something so small, but it just really bothered me! I assume this patch will have to be updated whenever the original mod is updated, since the esp is overwritten?
Good start, though the lore breaks down even further when you really start exploring the vault. Found both dirty institute jumpers and Vault 101 suits inside. Very pretty vault regardless though.
Yeah, I know what you mean...and I'm struggling to justify this, but the institute, in it's earlier incarnation as CIT, was a pre-war organization - so I don't see any issues with grads from CIT joining Vault-Tec. What the Sole Surivor would recognize as an 'institute jumper' could easily be a type of fashion style common at the time in tech-related environments.
As for the Vault 101 suits - well, perhaps they over-ordered for Vault 101 so Vault 80 had to make do with the leftovers. It's not as though the subjects of the vault would have much use for branded suits after their transformations

Even that wiki you link to says: "The following is based on Fallout Shelter and some details might contradict canon."
Just kidding. Interesting to hear about this, thanks for pointing it out.

Not quite sure what you mean by this - did I miss something? If you could please be more specific that'd help, thanks.
