Dammit, stumbled onto this mod after taking 2 levels of pickpocket just to upgrade the Disciples armor. (What?!) Oh well, bookmarked for next playthrough.

Honestly, Bethesda did some cool stuff with this game but, man, so much stuff that just leaves ya scratching your head.

This is just what I was looking for! Thank you!!! like you, I don't think it makes any sense that all of the sudden, I need extra perks to mod my weapons and armor.

"hey u need pickpocket rank 2 to upgrade this Pack armor u found."
What? Why would I need pickpocket to upgrade a 18 pound chest piece into 1 24 pound chest piece?

"What? Why would I need to be good at baseball in order to weld a shovel handle to my gun?"

"Hey, you need Big Leagues rank 5, yknow, the perk based off using a baseball bat, to weld a little more metal onto this knife."

Nice. I understand what Beth was trying to do with these perk requirements- but it's kind of silly. I don't need to be a master of close combat to strap a knife to a pistol.

Yeah, god forbid players be allowed to utilize one of the game's core mechanics on the gear they find there.

Actually their goal was to nerf them without removing the high damage.

Bethesda made those perk requirements to nerf the gun.

This works great but you forgot the powerful receiver for the western revolver it still requires gunslinger perks.

i do agree that removing all the non-customize perks was a better idea.

Didn't notice many high-level requirements on the armour.

Besides, I got my look nailed down so I don't use much new armour
