endorse! :) this is something that should have been from the start of bethesda Fallout, the Fallout 3, since that game has so much controversial topic in which separate the Fallout fanbase into multiple groups. of course aside that, I wish bethesda try to be a bit more concern about the ip establish lore, even for simple stuff, like this mod described. 200 years is so goddamn long dude, there is no way a pre-war food can survive except the ones that store inside underground chamber cryogenic machine refrigerator like that. kudos to mod author for making this. \o/
lol thanks. I don't think I'll make a "no bobby pin" version but you could do it yourself. Check out my article with this mod. There's instructions on how to do it.
Also try Fallout 4 Loot Overhaul. It reduces a lot of loot in the world including bobby pins. I plan on making a customized version of F4LO in the next few weeks which is more compatible with a all of my mods.
Iguana Bob made Iguana Bits out of people, that doesn't mean that there really aren't iguanas out there and that people really are eating them, source: http://fallout.gamepedia.com/Iguana
However, like squirrels and until very recently chickens/rabbits they were never modeled in a fallout game.
Actually by the 2070's they found a way to prevent food from expiring according to the sole survivor him/herself, he/she was going through their pantry on the morning of October 23, 2077 and he/she was going through the food in the hallway closet and he/she said "expires in..... Never". I'm guessing sometime before the 2070's food no longer expires so that is why 200 years later the food is still ok to eat
