Should the range on this be so short? Maybe it's just because I'm playing VR, but the range is only 17. Works fairly well down ironsights, but useless for VATS outside of point blank range.
My favorite part about this mod is how accurate it is to the version in NV. By that I mean the gun was awful back then and it's still awful now XD. While I don't plan on using the mod anymore I do appreciate the work that went into it so thank you
Just an idea I've had to emulate how gleefully OP the weapons that this gun is based on could be in New Vegas: add a legendary variant that does something like double the normal crit damage, making it a viable end-game weapon if you're running a really high luck, high agility build.
Operators and Railroad agents I think would be the best candidates to drop the weapon, as Gunners aren't known to care for subtlety and Triggermen tend to prefer automatic weapons.
Awesome mod! Just stumbled upon it and it totally fits my new character. I know this mod is probably not the highest thing on the priority list anymore, but would it be possible to do an optional file with less brighter glowing sights? Bc this gun suffers from the same bug as other weapons with glowing sights: In a dark environment they are glooming. There are patches for the vanilla guns, so its probably not to difficult.
