About this mod
A literal brighter future, underground.
I was sick of having to plaster my vault rooms with lights just so i could see anything at all. My solution was to cut the falloff, fade, and increase the radius of all the lights buildable in the Vault-Tec DLC.

There's not much else to say, installation should be simple, either use a mod manager, or chug it into your data folder.
The changes to the lights in the current version are:
- Radius set to 600
- Falloff exponent set to .1 from 10
- Fade set to 1/2 of original value
Generally this means that the area where the lighting is constant is now 600 "units," the light extends farther while getting dimmer, and the transition between light and dark is twice as soft.
TO DO:
- Reduce the radius on coloured wall lights, and normal wall lights to prevent clipping through walls
- Improve brightness on some lights to make tall atriums less spoopy
- Create "brighter" version so suntanning indoors is possible.
I will not be adding brightness outside of the vault 88 DLC because there's a plethora of better made, and probably still maintained mods out there for that. such as: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/2494
There is a PC version on Bethnet if you prefer to download there, the mod ID is: 2396543
The name of this mod comes from FO3, where the tour through a simulated vault says that the vaults have "Simusun lighting," this was pronounced "Sim-u-sun" because it simulates the sun.
