IMPORTANT! the FOMOD (installer) has an error in the config file. Vortex will not install 'crystal' version. other versions should work fine. ... to correct: 1. open vortex and remove file/archive 2. manually download and extract zip file. 3. open FOMOD folder 4. open ModuleConfig.xml using notepad or wordpad. 5. you will find two reference for "Clean Water - Crystal Clear.esp" remove the 'clear' from both entries... both should now be "Clean Water - Crystal.esp" 6. save and close 7. zip/7zip the folder "Clean Water-16297-2-0" 8. open Vortex - Mods.. click on 'Install from file' and select your zip.
Yet another reason why this old-timer is still manual modding despite such advanced automated ways. Mod managers are great when they work, but even then they have a learning curve, and then foibles emerge, and then figuring out and learning how to deal with issues like this. All such that much of their benefit over manual method is eroded. And then there's updates to get the hang of, and then next era and another advised mod manager to learn. I've been gaming and (mostly manual) modding since the 1980s and 'twas ever thus. Manual modding is only difficult these days because you sometimes have to unpick mods which some modders devoted to managers have packed them for manager use and often go out their way to make some childish derisory comment about people still trying to mod manually. "No one should be manual modding in 2022" (or whenever) I'm confidently told off, and yet I've already enjoyed one modded playthru of FO4 to level 114. The key is not to overmod. I read of folk with 650 mods, but I always keep it to 50-ish. Easier to manage and means you can save other mods for future playthrus to keep your game fresh.
Just installed this and now my whole world is filled with water. I have tried manually deleting the files (along with uninstalling in Vortex) and nothing works. My playthrough is fresh too so don't have an earlier save. Can't bring up PipBoy or see weapons or bring up map. WTF?
Hello, I thought I might as well just post this here... I discovered today that my Water Textures or Water Lod (dont really know) cause this weird, square shift effect that flickers and moves when you look around. I searched the internet but only found one reddit post that probably had the same problem but they just said that they downloaded a mod on nexus but didnt want to check which mod it was. Could this be a precombines issue, or what is this? Maybe someone knows. Thanks
It's because of wrong water data. Debug this is a little bit tricky so I suggest you find any mod that alter water in your LO, and then disable them one by one to see which one is the culprit.
When installing this mod through Vortex, I get the following error: "Modules\Clean Water - Crystal Clear.esp" not found or missing. Is there a download location where I can get this .esp, because otherwise I cannot use this mod.
Super simple fix. Unpack the zip go into FOMOD open ModuleConfig, look for Clean Water - Crystal Clear.esp change both to Clean Water - Crystal.esp. Put both folders back into the zip and overwrite. You should be able to then install the crystal option of this mod.
Why you all cant Read the Mod Description: Total Conversion Mod: W A T E R W O R L D!!! XD
But jokes aside all old Mods that changes Textures leads to a lot of bugs now. Example the true Storm mod let me fall trought some Surfaces. The Clean Wasteland Workshop mod retextured one Building (low resolution walls i can go trough)
I realy hate that i have now a ugly rosted concrete building in my settlement. Have to remove the mods.
There's a mismatch in the FOMOD between the name of the ESP specified and the actual filename; if you want to use that one you'll need to install it manually, or remake the FOMOD.

Thanks again :)
