I love this mod, a very simple yet very useful addition. Those fillers solve a lot more problems than just filling gaps while constructing elevators, they're ideal for making a low wall in front of shop counters and are decent defense railings as well
The only gripe I have is that the wooden multiple story walls now have their top texture missing, it's a flashing black bar. Could you have a look at this please?
This is an Awesome Idea and very versatile. I have used this a railings (with a little place everywhere help) and as trim coming down off a roof to make an awning. Works great with Vanilla walls as a filler in odd places too! I Have submitted pics.
I found a great secondary use for the spacers, they make great backing for the neon and DLC letters. The neons are finicky when trying to place on things like Sanctuary houses but they work like a charm on your spacers.

The walls from the 'Warehouse' menu added by the Contraptions DLC do exactly this with a variety of corrugated metal and windows to pick from. The only thing really missing from the set was a doorway where you enter/exit the elevator which leave the call button accessable, but the left half of the barn door wall section does a half way decent job of this.
For some reason I'm getting a gap between the spacer and wall. Here's a pic: http://i.imgur.com/vLzYrP7.png I really want to use the elevator with concrete and I'd be willing to use metal or wood spacers, but it's not working.
