Got a screen from xEdit? I didn't apply a tag, so would like to see what you mean. I don't recommend this mod anyway. Use True Perks, it does it better.
The only two mods to my name are tweaks that I needed and figured I'd share. They are simple edits (deletes). There are many perk mods out there and I would not have a clue where to even begin such a mod. :)
Haven't tried the mod yet, but it's a godsend. Tired of sniping super mutants in the distance, only to see them explode with caps. Given how far I am in the game, I'm already rich. Don't need those annoying caps.
mate thank you and make some more please! vanilla FO4 is already shizo-mad enough and some ppö change stuff like perks even more mad.. but you are good. P.S. despite sometimes omg shizo style of FO 1-4 & (FO76) is too much for me, but FO4 ist still my #1 post-apocal game (+mods:))
Does anyone know if this works if it isn't moved to the bottom of your load order? Reason I ask is I always convert small files like this to ESL format and ESL files are always loaded before any ESP's. I don't have any other mods that even touch the Fortune Finder perk or any of its effects.
You have to remove each level of the perk via console.
If you have mods that alter perks you need to find the perk codes by searching the perk via console and remove all listed via console. If you are on a game console you are fkd sorry.
I'm on PC. I tried removing the 4th level via console commands - why wouldn't that be enough? All I want to get rid of is the exploding-into-caps bit. But it still happens. Then I tried your mod. But it still happens. Then I tried looking in FO4Edit to see which mods edit the perk. Only yours and another one I had that removed level restrictions on all perks. So I disabled it and tried everything again... still just keep getting showers of caps. It's madness!
Sorry but no, you have to remove every level of the perk as it stacks. If it is altered by any mod the console code will change so make sure to remove each level of the modded perk and the vanilla levels to make sure it is clean.
Unload my mod. Unload any mods you have that alter perks. Load game. Clean save (Google it). Save game. Load any mods that alter perks. Load my mod after. Start game, voilà.
