I am not a gamer. I hate leveling, points, hording, pat on the back rewards, and all the fake experience packed into games. I like immersive semi realistic simulations. I used this to make my own perk to guarantee "experience" credits are stopped. I handled all the other level related functions already.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention! It turns out when I uploaded the plugin file, I forgot to also upload the scripts it needs (Oops. Rookie mistake...). As soon as I can, I will upload the correct version that has the scripts. I would recommend uninstalling the version of the mod you have, then come back here and get version 1.1. Hopefully that will fix the problem.
Yes this mod is similar to others - including yours - but they are not quite the same. Your mod offers a larger range of specific max levels (30, 32, 52, 70, etc), and mine offers the ability for someone's current level to be their max level (meaning any level can be max level).
Because you can do a similar mod, with simpler scripting or different functionality.
An example would be the Legendary Modification mod, which has multiple options during install. Unfortunately, due to the way it's scripted, it requires compatibility patches for DLC, every time new DLC armor/weapons are released, and the compatibility patches come from third-party modders, since the original author hasn't updated it in a long time. It also requires compatibility patches for other mods.
Then we have Love to Craft - Legendary. Simpler scripting, also compatible with any DLC or mod-added weapons/armor that have legendary slots. It does the same thing as Legendary Modification, but without the downsides.
Both fulfill the same general purpose, but are vastly different in their compatibility and code efficiency.
Now, with that said, you really shouldn't be salty on other mod author's pages like this. It speaks more about you than anyone else. Shameful display.
