Sorry I am not Chinese so can not understand the languages of China like most who will download this mod, so it work's for us because we do NOT understand the language but your point is very good if you are Chinese or speak Chinese and you will then notice any inconsistency's immediately.
The best way to accept it therefore is to see this as it is meant to be, an alternative time line, a universe were technology is in many respects not as advanced as today while in other's it is far ahead of today's.
Basically it is the 1950's style of technology, clunky but stylish but in the future in a world that followed an alternative reality path, different people became leaders of these nation's, different politic's even though inspired by today's led to a different world that ultimately destroyed itself.
So in that reality maybe, just maybe these were a different version of the people they were here and that make's it lore friendly though only if the lyric's do not clash with the ideology of that other version of themselves.
China has a fantastic and ancient legacy much of which Mao tried to destroy in the cultural revolution, he believed that by destroying his people's past they would instead become more malleable to his vision of China and that by removing the legacy's of ancient China he could recreate it in his own image but as anyone even I a westerner know that was totally misguided and wrong and if he himself had known his own nation's history he would have remembered how the scholar's died rather than renounce there knowledge when Qin Chi Huang did the same thing over two thousand years earlier.
The only thing's Qin wanted to keep were medicine and astrology so all the historian's were butchered allowing him to lay claim to the greatness and contribution of the seven kingdom's as well as remove from history any reference to any previous unified great state that may have superseded his China (Ignoring the almost unknown legacy of the greatest pyramid's ever built and little known even in china today such as the Great white pyramid which may supersede the general buried in a tome dug into one side of it - probably to lay claim to the even in his time extremely ancient monument for his own posterity - and far larger than anything the Egyptian's ever built, it makes you wonder at the lost glory's of that former empire), one that whispers of may still exist in Japanese legend of a time when an Empress once ruled over much or all of what later became China but also had some sway over them many thousand's of years ago.
As such there is nothing wrong with the mod BUT if the mod author does not have a problem with it then there is no reason you or someone else could not replace his track's with some that fit your taste's.

Only Red songs like "Sailing the Seas Depends on the Helmsman" or "The East is Red" was allowing.
I didn't mean to offensive, I do respect the Chinese people, and i just telling what I feel and know haha...
But hey, just enjoy the game, Lin-Zi-Xiang was great btw, love the Cantonese songs. :)
