      Downloaded and Endorsed.

      Strong message to stand together, and work with our community (Yes, whether we like it or not this includes those on Console) rather then insult, degrade and tear each other apart. They say in times of adversity real nature is revealed and I'd rather the modding community come together as a better strong entity from all this, then worse.

      Also like she opted not to demonize and mock Bethesda, as after all we are all in this together. Yes, mistakes were made and things may not have gone perfect as planned but I'd rather a vibe of wanting to work together united then "Anti-Beth!!"

      Umesco111, that was beautiful. I am in absolute agreement with you. People getting in fights about "PC master-race" (and whatever people say about consoles being better) are only adding heat to the already hot fire. We all gotta put aside our differences and try somehow to come to a solution, and a good start to positive problem-solving is unity. History has proven that the radical, uncompromising solutions/people usually fail while their more judicious and uniting counterparts fare much better (take for instance the methods and ideas of Booker T. Washington and W.E.B. Du Bois). We gotta start with small steps before we can resolve the situation.
      And btw, I would totally give you kudos if I knew how

      Edit: Oh, well that seemed rather obvious. Just figured out how the kudos thing works :p

      You should really watch those GTKYMA videos on youtube with DDproductions if you'd like to see how modders, including Eli, really feel about bethesda's choices.

      The mod is also on here too, if you don't wish to use bethesda.net for mods. CBBE and Vanilla are both available.

    BTW, I never said everyone on console is to blame nor am I encouraging this PC vs Console nonsense.

    The only problem is that BethNet hasn't done anything to resolve the issues going on aka purpose of this mod.

      Well.. they probably haven't, and don't even plan to, because they can legally do this as per the eula any person who owns FO4 agreed to when they installed the game, I kid you not. Did you even read it? A section of the eula was already there dedicated to this BEFORE official modding tools even came out.

      It literally pretty much was along the lines of surrendering your rights to ownership of a mod, however, it specified this being only if it used any official assets or tools/utilities in the mod or the creation of the mod.

      Nonsense. They own the plugin, and anything that was theirs in the first place. Your textures, your models, writing etc. are yours.

      Here's the EULA section:
      If the Software makes available, as a separate downloadable installer, a level editor or other similar type tools, assets and other materials (the “Software Utilities”) that permit you to construct or customize new game levels and other related game materials for personal use in connection with the Software (“Customized Game Materials”), then in the event you access such Software Utilities, the use of the Software Utilities is subject to the following additional terms, conditions and restrictions:

      (a)All Customized Game Materials created by you are exclusively owned by LICENSOR and/or its licensors (as the case may be) and you hereby transfer, assign and convey to LICENSOR all right, title and interest in and to the Customized Game Materials and LICENSOR and its permitted licensors may use any Customized Game Materials made publicly available to you for any purpose whatsoever, including but not limited to for purposes of advertising and promoting the Software;
      (b)You will not use or permit third parties to use the Software Utilities and the Customized Game Materials created by you for any commercial purposes, including but not limited to distributing, leasing, licensing, renting, selling, or otherwise exploiting, transferring or assigning the ownership of such Customized Game Materials;
      (c)Customized Game Materials must be distributed solely for free;
      (d)Customized Game Materials shall not contain modifications to any other executable files;
      (e)Customized Game Materials must be used alone and can be created if the Customized Game Materials will be used exclusively in combination with the commercially released retail version of the Software.
      (f)Customized Game Materials cannot contain libelous, defamatory or other illegal material, material that is scandalous or invades the rights of privacy or publicity of any third party, or contain any trademarks, copyright-protected work or other property of third parties (without a valid license); and
      (g)All Customized Game Materials must contain the proper credits to the authors of the Customized Game Materials and must indicate that LICENSOR is not the author of the Customized Game Materials with additional language that “THIS MATERIAL IS NOT MADE, GUARANTEED OR SUPPORTED BY THE PUBLISHER OF THE SOFTWARE OR ITS AFFILIATES.”

      Basically, from what I'm seeing, the mods themselves are technically owned by Bethesda when they are implemented into the game or if they are built with Bethesda software; however, Bethesda must indicate that the mod was not made by them and give credit to the mod author.

      KryliaViru is correct on Section A that the packaged mod belongs to Bethesda and your textures, models, writing, etc. belong to you outside of the game, provided you did not make those assets with Bethesda software.

      Ethreon is correct that your textures, models, writing, etc. belong to you outside of the game, but that ownership does not extend to the mod itself beyond recognition as the mod author and the permission rules associated with it among other modders.

      Urgh, the headache I get trying to deconstruct this crap is why I'm an engineer and not a lawyer... (though legalspeak is required for both, sadly)

      *I have no idea where my brain was when I first read through this thread and opened my proverbial mouth, or the second time, but I feel like a dumbass now.

      That EULA is the sole reason why I personally would never put anything on bethesdos.net

      The purpose of that section of the Eula truly is to just facilitate console mods, to boot, which is just funny.

      Plus, imagine the nightmare of identifying what was made with Bethesda software, and what wasn't?

      What if a mod is comprised of material partially constructed from Bethesda software, and partially constructed from third party software?

      These are the questions I find interesting.

    Its a nice mod, well done and the shirts look great................. I am adamantly against stealing another persons modded work, but I am guilty of pirating software/movies/games/etc. Most of the DLCs for FO4 were garbage, was easier to DL the entire game repacked than to drop $30 per DLC in my opinion............

    Why should we care about console gamers? If They want mods they need to come to pc or to hell with the lot of them and their shitty little controllers.

    I don't understand why would anyone want to defend that piece of junk excuse of a company named bethefta(bethesda) they did nothing but to try and kill mods over all these years instead of fixing their games your games are not "rough around the edges" they are freaking broken.You broke Skyrim and gave us a non-polished product because the game "had" to "make" it in 11/11/11.

    Piracy nowadays is used to describe almost everything. Steal a car? PIRATE. Put in download movies? PIRATE. Can't simply be called "criminal" or somewhat alike? Bah.

    It's too bad we don't live in a world where people don't steal mods and modders don't hoard the best content as PC exclusives. That would be too simple.

      A modders first priority is to have fun. They mod so THEY can have fun. Not you, or me, its because they wanted to put something in the game and did it. When they CHOOSE to share it, its their choice who they share it with and how much support they give the mod. Some people get a lot of enjoyment out of other people using their mods, other people are just being nice enough to let other people use it.

      The minute people start demanding things from modders, people who simply are trying to have fun like everyone else, modding stops being fun and no one will want to release their mods anymore. Its not about PC or Consol, its about people recognizing modders are not game developers, their not professionals, their just gamers who are trying to get the most of the experience.

      People just need to respect the modders, who are the only ones who should have any say in how their personal work is distributed, and just be happy people give their time to make cool stuff free at all.

      The cool thing about the modding community is, you don't like how some modder supports his mod, or think the mods are not very good? You can just go make your own. No one is stopping you from making something better. But its all a choice, this modder doesn't want to support xbox, fine. End of story. This person does? great! You think you can do it better, than please do so! That's what makes the community better. But demanding other people do it? That's not respectful nor helpful.

      Easy there, bud. I know how the system works. Just wish people were better at asking/giving permission and not getting so angry considering this is literally the first time console players are experiencing PC mods. Everybody is just excited or anxious about the concept, so we all should try to be a little more patient with each other.

      Modders do it for the enjoyment, they're not in debt to you or me or any console player.

      Um... did you really just try to say modders should be patient with thieves? cuz... that... well you left me basically speechless.

      In regards to the "Best" content. There are mods that cannot run on a console. Consoles are limited, something you need to accept.

      Wow you guys sure do make a lot of assumptions about all modders >.>

      I for one, don't mod "because its fun" I mod because I want certain changes in the game I'm capable of making. If I could make a few cents here and there, I personally would. I know not everyone would and thats their choice. As it stands, modders make less than people streaming on Twitch. I'd be pretty surprised to see anyone taking in a large amount of $ from donations.

      Since the option to make money directly (all be it a crappy deal and overpriced), the one thing we should have over our mods, if not payment, is control of distribution. We deserve that considering you are getting content (sometimes even supported) free.

    hi
    imho what mod author need to do is if that have uploaded there mods to bethesda.net then on description page at the top have a link to the mod but if the mod mod author has not uploaded there mods to bethesda.net then at the top of the description page say something like this mod has not been officially been uploaded to bethesda.net
