I have also had problems with the mod working, but I have a better explosives mod, and that might conflict. Maybe a patch would fix my problem as I like both better explosives (for they seem more realistic as a HEAT rocket from an bazooka that was designed for tank armor dose not kill a a giant behemoth or a deathclaw and if you say it should not then look up what happens when a HEAT round hit something) and Breach. If you also have this problem I found this mod that allows you to kick, shoot, or blow or locks on doors and container. And the other one is like this one. Could you please make a version that uses shotguns instead of explosives? I mean in real life it's mostly "a shotgun blast to the lock, and another two to the hinges", IIRC.
Well I did find the magazine but the button R, or any other button, doesn't do anything eventhough the Breach option appears when I'm looking at any locked container. :/ Doesn't work with any grenades or mines in my inventory while any of those are checked as equipped.
any mods that change grenades in any way? any mods that alter containers? any mods that alter lockpicking (dont know if this is relevant, but never hurts to be thorough)
It doesnt work at all for me, I redownloaded it but the breach option still doesnt do anything. Incase of a conflict also tried putting it at the top of the load order. Ive also only tried it out on containers in far harbor, so that might be the problem(no idea how the mod works and if the dlc has anything to do with it).
Once you've added the scripts in, would it be possible for you to make breaching charges? I doubt bottlecaps would be able to break a safe and it seems a bad idea to be holding a frag up against a lock
I was thinking of adding a craftable Thermite Pack that enables silent breaching. I can use breaching charges for doors and the thermite pack for containers.
Perhaps you could have it so you need a different perk to unlock crafting of each? You could do it so breaching charges are loud and require rank 1 of Demolition Expert or Breach! and thermite is quiet and requires rank 3 or 4. Maybe also add other explosives at other ranks with their own benefits/drawbacks?
