Any chance there could be an option to have the pilot equip an outfit you give him? Maybe a dialog option to put on new equipment / outfit? I run the Minutemen as either an NCR overhaul or as a more or less modern military (and thus they look a lot like Gunners). I would think having an option to just give the pilot new gear (which they would keep / remember) would be easier than making a much of different versions of the mod.

You can call a Vertibird in vanilla game as a personal transport vehicle, but not fly it yourself. Depending on your decisions in the storyline it is piloted by a BoS, Minutemen or Railroad NPC. There is also at least one mod available which puts a Gen2 Synth on the pilot's seat, but I can't remember the mod's name.

Good suggestion! I was always so focused on the Minutemen faction that I totally forgot about the Railroad...

I don't have much time the next few weeks, but I quickly smashed together Elianora's RR jumpsuit texture with some existing headgear for the Railroad pilots and uploaded a new file. Would be nice to get some feedback if it works or not. I can't test it myself atm.

If it does work for now or not, I will include the Railroad faction in future updates. The mod's name has already changed

Did you spawn a pilot with the console or did you call a VBird with a smoke grenade? I console'd some pilots yesterday and all of them except the Minutemen and gunner appeared with wrong outfits. The Brotherhood too and I did not change anything on them.

Late answer due to limited time and real life issues. Sorry for that.
I did a quick playthrough with the Railroad. Aside the official DLCs no esp was loaded but my mod and it's prerequisites. And the Railroad outfits show up on the VBird pilots. I have to check it's compatibility with other mods at a later time, but for now I call the Railroad outfits a working feature. See images tab for screenshot.

You should just take my jumpsuit textures and make a standalone object. I have open permissions so you can include a standalone mechanic (pilot) jumpsuit with this mod if you'd like.

Haha Tried to contact you yesterday but got error message in the forum and comments on your armour collection are blocked. Now it's funny to see you leaving the first comment here

I'd like to leave it as it is, but thank you anyway. I don't care about dl count or endorsements, so let ppl download your and Niero's great mods before mine. It's win-win for you and for them.

I get a lot requests and people asking for permissions even though I have open source textures. I have a bit of a communications burnout so I'm taking a break from handling mod comments.

It's not so much about downloads / endorsements as it is about making a mod easy for users to get and get to use.
