Gopher for much of the assets I used, I wound up having to heavily mod his mod rather than making wholly from scratch, and one script is still wholly his work, I just could not figure it out.

With some help from Gopher and his excellent Survival Quick Save mod I was FINALLY able to create a working reusable Canteen, so here it is, folkses. The mod you've been looking for (I hope), the Survival Canteen. Automagically adds Alchemy item Canteen_XX_YY to your Inventory (so you can favourite it/use it at need) and keeps it there. Non-refillable infinite uses atm still working on adding the refill it mechanics. Quenches your thirst only, no hp/other effects.
Muchos credit to Gopher, I really just modded his QuickSave mod into something else entirely.
<EDIT:> I've been learning much about 3d modelling, and am almost ready to release an updated version with a proper canteen model and working refills. Slow going as I'm an absolute idiot about this stuff (3d models/textures/bgsm files 19 different proggy's to make a gd picture...... GAHHH!!! Gimme a cli/script to edit anyday, I MUCH prefer coding to modelling.) But I'm working on it, scripting's mostly done, and the model just needs collision meshes added (I hope!!!)) <Update 2 12/07/2016: Still working on the custom meshes for this mod, just really really slow going for me, I'm REALLY not very good with "painting/drawing" sorta art, I'ma performance artist (juggler/acrobat/comedian/Jester/clown) and part-time "for-fun" coder mostly, not a "painter."> <Update v3 02/11/2016: Still working on models slowly, not a top priority so it's takin forever, and I'm actually having trouble getting such a tiny object to behave as I want it to, collision is tougher than I thought for movableStatics . Update v3 removes the DLC requirements, that's all, they were just leftovers anyways.
