Hey folks! I said that i would not update this anymore, but i could not resist!

    New version disables:

Flashlight indicator. (Who, or what.. is this for?)
    Recon Scope indicator.

Thank you all for the positive feedback!

I will not update or release any new versions of my mod anymore. There will be better UI mods for sure in the future (From other people), like customizable hud and such, but this is a good placeholder =).

I have written in the description on how you can mod the UI yourself, since you might want to have specific UI elements visable or not.

      Hello Ohrmus,

Thank you for letting us know and I respect that you don't want to update it anymore. Can you please offer more detail though and a comparison example so people know what they are looking for?

For example, I have downloaded JPEXS, but I have no idea what I am looking at here... Under each hudmenu.swf, there is a header, then 7 folders (shapes, sprites, etc...). Can you please tell us 1 section (exact file, etc) you edited, so I can compare the non edited version, to start to learn. Did you delete a text string, did you delete a sprite, did you comment out a line in the script, etc...

what file did you modify, for example to get rid of the HP bar, so we have something to look at.

      Thank you, LB

If you know exacly what you want to change, you will find it. Under sprites you find alot of markers and such. Some hud elements are grouped like hud center, hud left etc etc.

      For example:

Go to sprite 466. Under frame 1 you will see 2 green plus signs.

      (StealthMeter_mc)
      (EenemyHealthMeter_mc).

Click on (EenemyHealthMeter_mc). To you'r right you see a bunch of flags and such. Go to matrix and look for translateX and translateY.

Give any of them a huge number, so that you effectively move the specific UI element off the screen.

      Hello .

Can you create version similar to this " Removes: All hud except loot window and Vats. " But let visible ammo on hud ? And maybe make it smaller and move little bit right and down ?

^ Ohrmus already stated he wont be uploading anymore and now he has explained how to do it your self. I suggest d/ling the free program JPEXS and using his example above to edit to your liking exactly.

      Hi Ohrmus,
just wondering - it there some special procedure for saving HUDMenu.swf in JPEXS?
I extract the swf file, open in it JPEXS, and immediately save it. Resulting file is same size as before, but this swf file crashes my F4 as soon as I go into play (load any game)

      //edit
Oh, figured it out. seems like JPEXS remembers some info between restarts, so I was saving a file I modified previously and not the last loaded one

hey thanks for the mod and the guide to customize it now I have the perfect minimalist UI. One thing though, if you don't mind me asking, is there a way to replace one shape with another?Like, all the crosshair options to only be the dot you get in third-person, really not liking the square thing you get when you aim at a person. Thanks!

Edit: Forgot to write, currently im disabling the crosshair with the ini tweak, so I don't know the location of the crosshairs too

No longer working as of 5.25.2016, finding that the 1.5 update causes CTD with quite a few mods involving the HUD. Found a new working version to try out here: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/10654/?

I appreciate this mod and I use the optional one which removes all hud but it be awesome to get rid of those green indicators on the enemies (or, just keep it green w/o the text.)

What is the sprite for that?

Could you make a version that removes the Flashlight icon?

Hi Ormus, first I want to say THANK YOU for this mod, it's awesome! I took inspiration from this mod and zalteredbeastz's "No HUD and adaptive crosshair" mod and went and dug around the HUDMenu.swf file like you suggested to create my own version.

I really don't want to hijack your mod, but since you say you're not going to be making anymore updates, I have some free time and would actually be willing to create some more versions if people have specific requests, so if anyone would like to check out a similar mod that removes a few extra things ("HP" and "AP" text, flashlight icon, hit indicator when you fire at something, grenade indicator, directional hit indicator, enemy health bar, adaptive crosshair), you can check out my UI mod and make any requests. Any of these elements can be added back if it's too much for you.

Again Ormus, I want to restate that I have no intention of hijacking your mod, and I'm only doing this because you explicitly stated that you won't be making any more revisions to it. If you want me to take my comment down, please let me know and I'll do so ASAP. Otherwise, people can find my UI mod at:

Your NMM download still isn't packaged in an Interface Folder.... @Mileafly, you will have to download it manually, extract it, then create a folder=data, within the data folder, create another and label it=Interface, place his mod inside the Interface folder. Then Add the whole folder starting at Data to an archive, then load it in NMM. Just had to do this myself.... enjoy

I know you aren't updating this mod anymore but I had a question...

I'm using the No HUD version, and it works when I am not in Power Armor, but once in Power Armor I can still see location markers and enemy blips on the radar. Am I doing something wrong or is it impossible to remove the blips with Power Armor? I've tried a few UI mods and they all seem to have the blips in Power Armor.

Thanks again for the mod. It works perfectly besides the Power Armor thing.

I do not use PowerArmor. The fact that you get one so early, is a huge turn-off for me. I don't want to walk around in a loud "tank". No, not my style. If you don't want blips and such when you are in the PowerArmor, you have to dig around in the files i suppose. I totally ignore the PowerArmor.

Would love if your own health was only shown when you are in combat or have drawn your weapon etc. You can have no Rad to have it hidden but as long as you only have 1 rad damage it is shown, very irretating :/ Would be better if it was only shown if you where not currently at your max health - rad

Pretty sure that's not possible until we have a script extender, also he has stated that he is not going to be updating this mod anymore.

I noticed that the indicator if you are hitting someone is no longer visible. I play without a crosshair, but I do find it very useful to get that hit indicator when I am hitting someone. Normally I would not like it, but I have found that the hit detection in Fallout 4 is very bad sometimes, and you can shoot at things through a window for example but not hitting your target because the bullet is hitting some invisible material. Is it possible to not have the hit indicator be hidden?

Would it be possible with a version that hides the health of enemies, but you can see their health if you go into VATS? It would be useful on some bosses etc to have some idea if you go into VATS what how damaged they are without having to see their health all the time when just fighting normally.
