So Bethesda didn't put a lot of effort into the meshes for the afro hair? As usual, us black folks get...the Shaft.

    I'll see myself out.

Don't make this a race issue, blacks aren't the only group that can have afros.

@CourierF0ur He's talking about afro hair texture, which is found primarily among black people. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Afro-textured_hair

They didn't put much effort in any texture hair.

Really? Considering Preston is one of the main characters.

Just because Preston's talks the most doesn't make him a main character. By the way, there's a settlement that needs your help...

Preston is the leader of the Commonwealth Minutemen. I'd say that makes him one of the main story NPCs.

Great job, Limo with this mod.

This is a technical issue, not a race issue.

If anyone wants a fix for the beards looking weird the following mod worked for me http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/11325/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Ffallout4%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D11325%26preview%3D&pUp=1 while it isn't made for this mod it seems to work.

Nah, probably not, these are just simple texture edits :)

Actually yes, it does fix the glaring hair lighting issues with vanilla and even hair mods. You should see a slight improvement after installing this mod, even on the images here you can see the difference. Been using this mod for years and i thought this mod was the fix and not just a retexture. Limo should also advertise this mod as the simple and probably the only fix to lighting issue on hair.
So thank you for this mod.

I like the mod versions better. My Sole is using mod hair, but I'm going to install this for all the NPCs with vanilla hair.

Ah, some whisked mole rat guano for volume here, bit of goul bile for better hold there, and of course a touch of depleted uranium for shine.
Sorry for revealing your Wasteland Salon secrets, but the public have a right to know.

Mod causes a weird bug with some npc from Sim Settlement 2 making the skin at the root of the hair look black.

This looks absolutely amazing with the game's default lighting, but unfortunately I found it doesn't look so good with modded lighting, particularly ENB - totally messes up the shading details of the hair. I deleted the modded hair textures, but kept the tweaked colour palette.
