Yes, I know there is another (or a few, I don't know) Cheat Menu Mods, but I've been working on mine for a while now and I don't want all of my work to have been for nothing, so I decided I may as-well upload this so that maybe someone will enjoy it
Thanks, I was kinda going for a balance, sometimes when I really need another 20 caps or something I find it better to use this, rather than go find some items to sell to make 20 caps, or things like that, of-course I did add options for the people who feel the need for 100,000 caps or such.
I also find it horrible that they don't give perk points so you can add just a level or two to a perk in the other mod, it's either have all of them or level up and get them yourself lol.
Yeah, I was a fan of Project Nevada for FNV where I could set it to two perk points per level (or whatnot) which is why I'm using your mod. I tend to level my character up logically, keeping track of what they have actually been practicing between levels and spending the perk points there, but tend to (level restrictions aside) have to either save or 'burn up' perk points just because what my character has been doing doesn't match up with perks. Like lockpiciking - if I spend more time between levels lockpicking than shooting, because I am doing more scavaging than anything else, shouldn't I be able to level up both my scavaging and lockpicking? And adding to the specials seems like a waste of perk points. My char, before the big one hit, had a car and a nice cushy job. Now, he/she is having to do a LOT more running/jumping than they did 200 years ago, so things like strength, agility, etc., would naturally increase over time.
Your mod will let me bump up the special to show muscle growth and give me more perk points to spend over multiple skills. One man's 'cheating' is another man's 'immersion'.
BTW, forgot to mention that it installed through MO just fine. Didn't see anything wrong with the file packaging.
Thanks for informing me that the installation works properly.
You're right about the "One man's 'cheating' is another man's 'immersion'" Also I like the idea of your play through, I'll see what I can do about setting it to give 2 perk points every level instead of 1
Is this just for non-pc users? On PC it comes with cheat terminal which does all of this and a lot more. So my question is, "what am I not understanding about your mod?"
Seeing that it did work for me, then I went ahead and added other mods, and now I think it works but I can't find the holotape anywhere and it's not in my inventory anymore... what if I wanted to use the console to give myself the holotape? Can I do that? Is there an item id for the holotape that I can use with player.additem?
.exe files are Windows Executable Files and since the only OS is Unified Operating System in the game, a .exe shouldn't exist in the lore. but it doesn't matter, since this mod is a cheat menu anyways.
