I wonder why Bethesda made grabbing things (especially bodies) so finicky, cumbersome, and annoying in their games. I recall constantly losing grip on a body I was dragging in Oblivion and just gave up trying to pile up my slain enemies lol
You can 100% pick up a trash can lid or trash can itself in the base game and use it as mobile cover. I have done it on occasion but NPCs don't tend to keep firing if they can't see your body.
Seems like it doesn't work correctly, I tried it on grates, boxes, furniture, beds but nothing happened. Also hoped, that it will be able to move skeletons, but this even doesn't work. Once I was able to pick up a car (after I tried the other stuff), but only once, after that this doesn't work either. Maybe that's the reason why you recommended not to do so(!).
I simply installed it via NMM, am I doing something wrong, are there any known incompatibilitys with other mods?
FWIW, it is working for me today on first install. Went from not being able to load a brahmin on a conveyor belt to doing it with ease. In general, some modsneed to be reinstalled or even fully deleted and redownloaded after a patch of the game. Give that a try.
If you're working with the knockout framework, that imposes nudging as opposed to flinging. Try placing Weightless Bodies closer to the bottom of your load order, after the reinstall.
Another possibility is viewpoint. Try it in first person POV.

Now I just need a way to dispose of them.
It has a Auto-Butcher and Robot Disassembler

Help would be appreciated.
