I will look into it but I cannot promise anything, not only am i new to this type of modding, but i have played and modded every bethesda game since oblivion and i do not recall seeing any mod making this possible. I would think if it could be done it would cause stability issues as the game engine has to have time to catch up. Faster may be possible but instantly probably isn't.
I looked at every option imaginable in both the geck and sleepwaitnmenu and couldn't find a way to speed up the process let alone make it instant. If anybody knows how help would be much appreciated.
cant make it instant , in skyrim it could of been possible but not in fallout either due to coding or some other off the wall reason but mostly everything that happens in fallout that doesnt have an "activation ie you walk into a scene " goes on like in real life and to jump ahead instantly would CTD your game , every npc in every cell would be bouncing off walls
hibernation-31days: You can only add 99 hours into the menu then it returns to 10 hours instead of continuing to 744 hours. Location I checked in was cellar in Sanctuary.
You must have another mod installed that overides sleepwaitmenu.SWF. Make sure to check your pathing, should look like data/interface/sleepwaitmenu.swf. I have also heard that if you are running the virtual folders option with NMM, it can cause issues with loose mods.
I have no other mods installed, and yeah I think I am a little confused with the path. I run through steam and don't have an interface folder, there is an interface.BA2 file
the pathing should look like this - steamapps/common/Fallout 4/data/interface/sleepwaitmenu.swf.
You will have to go inside your data folder, the one where you found your interface.ba2, and create a new folder called interface. inside that folder drop in your sleepwaitmenu.swf. Or you could use Nexus mod manager. In case you didn't know, there is a button at the top of nexusmods page for install NMM. if you use it , it can help you in your modding endeavors.

Do you think there would be any way to add a "sleep for zero hours" option. So that any bed can function as a save point in Survival without actually having to give up an hour of the day?
No sir, tried value for 0 hours max and for -1 hours max. The absolute least you can rest/ save at a bed in your case is 1 hour. You would need a f4se plugin and papyrus scripting to overcome that. I can not accomplish either of those things. Not due to lack of intelligence mind you, I have and always will despise coding language of any sort. I simply do not have the patience for it.
It will not effect it at all. This mod is an edit of the sleepwaitmenu interface and nothing more. While i was trying to figure out how to make this I did notice in the geck what I believe you would have to change to alter this. The problem is that for whatever ungodly reason my computer does not agree with 1.5.157 update so I am still running 1.4.132. So I cannot at this time make these edits and test them for the new survival mode.
just looked into it, not %100 sure but i believe it will be hardcoded into playersleepscript. you can try editing that if you know how to edit papyrus scipts.

Everybody using NMM as mod manager, it will place SleepWaitMenu - file into data folder. ( if you are using "Add mod from file" to install )
Go locate the file in your data folder, and move it to Interface folder inside datafolder.
