It has been a long time scince the last update, well time for "baaad news". I moved on, I can't play the game anymore it's just no fun. I stopped playing months ago when I still put up updates for the mod. I just hoped there was going to come a super-mod or more unlikely a proper dlc that would save the game, some miracle that would give me reason to play it again. But that never happened and I have a strong feeling that nuka world is going to be shitty like all prior dlc.
I'm really dissapointed by Fallout 4 I thought it was going to be like the previous games. I played skyrim for years and I still keep coming back, I played FO3 until my playstation died because I played so long and new vegas was even better. With FO4 I grew tired of the game after the first playthrough, wtf!
I really like the nexus community so I will still upload here if I start modding another game that's not dominated by the steam workshop (Maybe skyrim ;). For now I'll focus on Cities:Skylines assets and producing music. At least cities skylines is a PROPER video game, with a good and long lasting gaming experience in mind. You know, games like they used to make not too many years ago, before they started throwing out cheap shallow s#*! games to make quick money. Damn money, fucking greed is ruining this world.
Thats too bad, great mod. I know you will do great in all other things you do, I sometimes find it is more fun to create the perfect game than to actually play it...I spend hours adding the perfect mods for a game for my most ideal experience and probably spend less time playing than searching for and adding mods, lol. Greed does ruin anything it touches. Thanks for everything! Good Luck
There are so many mods that got abandoned without any message from the creator, so I really appreciate you letting us know. Thanks for sharing this mod and good luck!
You can accuse Bethesda of a few things when it comes to Fallout 4, but I don't see "quick money" as one of them. They worked on Fallout 4 for 8 years. If they just wanted quick money, they could release a Fallout entry every year like Ubisoft does with it's IP's and make many times more money. Acting like Bethesda has lost the plot completely is silly. They shouldn't have had a voiced protagonist, the story and role playing choices were a little weak, and settlements needed a little more polish and depth, all of which Todd Howard has acknowledged from the fan feedback. Acting like Bethesda is EA, or some evil monument to greed or that Fallout 4 is a terrible game is not a rational viewpoint. It isn't the best Fallout game, but I certainly feel like I got plenty of value out of it as a game.
I found that Frost - Survival Simulator very much revitalized my enjoyment of the game, and I definitely recommend checking it out if you haven't already.
Fallout 76 is Bugthesda's version of a quick money grab, complete with an expensive ass raping "Atomic Shop" cash store. I played a few minutes of that trash and was permanently done with it.
Download the individual Cehm Visuals and Alcohol Effects mods, rather than this one. While it might pad your load order, it works better, and doesn't randomly apply the visuals.
Visuals are randomly applied because the mod author forgot to only apply the effects when the player takes the chems. As a result the screenspace modification script applies every time an NPC uses a chem like Psycho. The fix is very simple to make in FO4Edit, all you have to do is add the condition to each of the chem magic effects edited by the mod.
If you don't know how to use FO4Edit and don't want to learn, someone else made a fix, albeit at the cost of an extra .esp (check the Requirements tab on the Description page).
hey, i greatly appreciate you taking the time to post this fix, i'm only wondering where exactly yo add this line, do i put it under "record flags"? i know how to edit mods with xedit but just the basics like making simple patches or leveled list edits.
I don't understand exactly what to change, when I want to change, a white field pops up, and if I open it in more detail, a list comes out:Type comparison value - float fuction referenceable object none run on unused parameter
is this mod safe to uninstall mid playthrough? I know its normally not safe to uninstall scripts midgame but im figuring this is small enough that it was cause CTD's
The authors post couldn't have aged worse lol. FO3 and NV were better vanilla in some aspects but FO3 had the worst MQ imo. Especially without the Broken Steel DLC. But modded to hell FO4 is amazing, definitely a lot better than FO3 (NV is still my favorite). Subversion, project Valkyrie, danse dilemma, SOTS, Depravity, TFTC, GFH, Crime and Punishment, and so on make the game amazing. Hell the first three mods I mentioned and depravity make it pretty dynamic, not as much as NV but certainly more so than FO3. Throw the now complete SS2 on top of all that and its pretty nuts. Almost on par with NV if not arguably better. Since the gunplay is vastly better in FO4 than its predecessors.
While I am sorry to see that this has been discontinued, I am grateful to finally have a better reason to use these items in game. This is amazing Thank you!
the effects from adrenaline XO gotta disable the mod for that
really sucks because it's the one drawback from a majorly immersive mod that kills it for me - why is my red EOTech sight colored blue now that I'm in combat? lmao

Everyone liked that.
