The new updates kinda broke everything to which I am sorry. This was simply a joke and teaser mod for what was going to be a hardcore game-play style mod that removed any aspect of non player characters being essential allowing you to kill anyone, story related or not. Sadly the changes that came with further updates had prevented this from happening. Maybe in the future I can find a way to work around these changes but for now, the project is on pause. I do apologize for any let downs this may have caused.
Believe it or not this joke mod is going to save games. !SPOILER! After you become overboss of the raiders and raid settlements preston turns hostile but stays essential. Basicly he ruins your save. Also yes I know you can disable command him but killing him is more fun. How bethesda didnt have the forsight to turn him to non essential when he turned hostile ill never know.
so basically if you are the overboss you can kill preston and it will not f*#@ up the game? since he will not give you quest if you raid settlements.. it makes sense
Humbug, Preson is immortal and cannot die as he has to live to bug the s#*! out of you. (That's tongue in cheek of course, I haven't tried killing him and neither do I disbelieve that it is now possible to shoot his nagging arse dead)
Sounds like the majority of mods do not work regarding killing this guy. And even if you manage to do it, apparently it can f*#@ up your save. Not worth the risk and effort. Besides, there are worse things than death. I put him in tattered rags and make him live in Murkwater construction place because its a crappy settlement and a swamp and its always raining there so I put him out there all alone and lock him in the stockaid thing. Now he can blab to himself forever about settlements needing help. Suffering the torment of immortality. Plus I edit his face. Make it all scarred up and black and blue as if I gave him a serious beatdown before banishing him to his own personal hell. I really fucking hate him :)

Did you actually check that in the game? Because it's not true. Quest protected NPCs can't be killed even if you turn off essential with console commands.
I downloaded this hoping to kill him, I'm not sure if I did things right but I couldn't so I googled how to kill him and found out about making him none essential and that wasn't working then I saw something about disabling him and that made him disappear like it said it would now the people that go with him are stuck outside of the museum it's kinda funny with them not knowing what to do.
